OK, fair play if you are vegan. I tried it once, lasted 4 weeks.

    Being veggie/vegan is totally unnatural.

    Like homosexuality.

You're confusing humans with farm animals. They don't have any concept of being farmed.
Would you like to give them a vote, too?

    One of us is.
Vegetarians obviously don't want a bunch of animals to be killed, but that's what would happen as a result of everyone becoming a vegetarian.
    Clear now?

How is never having been born a good thing?
    An anti-animal vegetarian. That's new.

By the way, just in case you think I'm sort of grass nibbling hippy, I come from a farming background (Ayrshire and Aberdeenshire) and studied at and worked for SAC (that's the Scottish AGRICULTURAL College in case you're wondering).

Less of the old ya ****. I was still a twinkle in the milkman's eye when ER was discovering the joys of masturbation.

They live a life, though. Without farming and people eating meat this simply wouldn't happen. No life at all is not better than some life.
Your complaints are about how the animals are treated. Address that, rather than saying that they shouldn't exist.
Humans suffer pain and loss. Are you suggesting that we'd be better off not existing?

I'm not doing that, though. I'm pointing out that without meat consumption these animals wouldn't exist in the first place.
Your decision to not eat meat because of the way that animals are treated is like choosing not to have children because of the mass killing in Norway.
Wouldn't want them to suffer, so it's better for them not to exist at all.

    Your logic's non-existent.

I understand it, but I don't agree with it. The animals have no concept of why they exist and nor can they, so it's totally irrelevant.
If they're treated well and allowed to live a decent life while they're here, then that's better than them not having been born, surely?
Promoting the ethical treatment of animals is better for them then promoting their non-existence.
