Wolves (H) is an ideal game for him to start. If he can get a goal against them it could kickstart his season. We could then end up not needing a real quality out and out striker, because I seriously think he will make it if he gets a chance/improves his attitude. If he can fulfill his potential and show promising signs we will have him and Best at the club. Then we can hopefully get Gervinho and then we won't need to spend too much on another striker but we would still need one more. I just really think we should really give Ranger a chance until the end of the season and see what he is capable of. People say he wont make it, but he hasn't started in the premiership this season and will surely offer more than Lovenkrands and Ameobi put together. What do you think?
Would rather start up him front with Best than Lover/Shola. Normally I'd say Lover but lost all faith in him recently. By all accounts though if Besty isn't fit by then Pards is thinking of starting Ranger anyway.
Sadly I'm 95% certain that he will start Ameobi and Best. Why do we never get a manager that doesn't rate Ameobi?
Yes. Start him. He always, always looks more threatening and more likely to score goals than Ameobi or Lovenkrands. By starting him we have nothing to lose and quite possibly a lot to gain.
It's been so long since we had a game I've kind of forgotten who are players are, apart fromt the obvious ones like Enrique, Colocini, Barton, Nolan, Tiote and Jonas. Apart from that they're all the same faceless individual in a black and white shirt.
I have no idea, you'd think with our revolving door manager policy one of them would think, "hang on, Shola's pretty awful most games (trying to be nice), think I'll drop him". If we (by which I mean Pardew) dont face facts and realise he and Lover arent up to it then I will start to fear for our survival.
Shola's a legend in his own right. Shame he's bloody useless. Bless him. I admire him, less as a footballer, more like the way you pity a sick child, or an animal with a broken leg.
Summed Ameobi up perfectly. Hopefully Ranger's behaved himself and not forgot to put the clocks forward the past week so hes been to training on time. Ever since getting that mask on Shola's looked more timid than usual and Lovenkrands has been anonymous pretty much every game he's played this season. I'd go for Best Ranger but I can see it being Best Ameobi.
