I wasn't at last night's match but, from the radio commentary, it sounded as if he had a better game.

Any feelings from anyone who was there?

He played well, but when he lost the ball he just gave up. Good set up for the first goal but we looked a faster and a more dangerous side when King came on.

He needs to get his finger out. He got past their left back with ease for the first goal, so i dunno why he didn't do it most of the night.

He has the ability and i hope he achieves it here.

I think the summer break may be the making of him. He should come back refreshed and ready to do the business. I put it down to the injury that he has been sh.te this season. Also I hope City want King back again and that MU will let him. He too should be a cracking player after gaining the experience he has this season.

He played slightly better. I think he plays better on the right wing. He can use his pace and get a right footed cross in. Just like the first goal.

King was far better though !

Alot of people will be looking at him i reckon. His pace is unbelievable.

Certainly will be great if City get him in the summer.

Thought Cam did pretty well last night and was p*ssed off to have been subbed. Good close season behind him and we shall see a different player - has the ability to run defenders ragged at this level - just better decision making and crosses required.

Josh King was tremendous when he came on - hopefully we get him on a season long loan and again with a good pre-season he will be a real asset.

Honestly thought he was crap all game but frustratingly did what he should have done 200 times this season for the first goal.

For some reason he barely makes runs down the flank when Rosenior has the ball - he simply stands still 6 yards away. Hard to tell in these situations whether it's down to the player or the manager.

I'd probably agree with this. With a bit of a rest behind him he could be very good again.

He made the first goal on his own last night and that's what he hasn't done often enough this season. I think if a winger does that he's done his job so I wouldn't say he was crap, but he was moping around too much every time he lost the ball and needs a good telling about that. King was much better when he came on but was maybe helped by the fact we were already winning and they had to push up. Remember it was Stewart who effectively got us ahead in the game and without that moment it could have been another of those ****e 0-0s where we get loads of chances and don't score.

I thought he definitely had a better game last night, though that wasn't hard, he's been bloody useless recently.

Something just isnt right with him mentally at the minute and everytime he looses the ball theres jeers which wont help.
Fans can handle a player out of form but not a player out of form who dosnt try.
He looks half the player he was and if it was a choice between him and King next year Id have King all day.

I wish he would play to the whistle instead of stopping all the time and just standing there or appealing to the ref but he is young and learning

I hope we do have first call on Josh King for next season , if he is playing in the Championship next season we want it to be for us and not against us

I think Man U have found a player there though , he would frighten most premier league defenders

YES. City pulled Barnsley apart in the first half and Cammy played his full part. Back to something like his old self. imo. Yes Barnsley were poor but we made them poor. Cammy needs a summers break and a proper Pre-Season unlike this season. Many fans forget that these lads are still young and developing. Its there first full season at this level. ffs. I think we shall see Cammy back to his best come August and prove the few doubters wrong AGAIN.

I would be surprised Not to see King and Brady back next season especially King. Man Utd need far better and SAF already is postering at sending many of his yioung uns away on Loan. Macheda and Fabio de Silva Look like they are heading off to Portugal-Benfica on loan for the 2012/13 season.

He played better than he has recently, but King looked a cut above when he came on. Hopefully we'll see him back to his best at the start of next season after a full pre season, maybe the injury lay off he had has caught up with him these last couple of months.

Ill be amazed if cam isnt a leicester player next season. He just looks completely disinterested and pulled out of a tackle because i dont think he wanted to injure himself and damage a potential summer move. Call my cynical but thats my strong feeling on the matter!

Younger players are more susceptible to loss of form and are inconsistent. They are more affected by the crowd getting on their backs.

Young players often go through 'a second season syndrome' (not just football), where they are no longer 'unkowns' and the opposition realise their strengths/ weaknesses. Good players learn from this and develop other strengths, so their ability does eventually come through.

Players who return mid season after a long injury often struggle for fitness towards the end of the season due to missing pre season.

But no, his poor form is obviously due to non of these, it's obviously cos he is unhappy, he wants out and has already signed for Lester next season!

I love Josh King's direct style.. get the ball and panic the f**k out of the opposition defence, almost did another solo effort last night which would have been 4-1.. sign him up..
