The poll will stay open for 30 days. This gives everybody a chance to vote.

You are allowed multiple votes in this poll. You are being asked to select anybody that you think deserves to be considered as the player of the season. You can vote for as many players as you like, though I suggest 3 should be the maximum. If you wish to of course, you can just vote for one or two players.

The players have been put in order relative to the amount of matches started this season.

The first two were easy for me Joe Mason because he's done better than expected and Mark Hudson I think he has grown this year and we missed him when he was out.

My 3rd is between Whitts for all the normal reasons and Miller because of his unselfish way he's lead the line, clobbered so many times and comes back for more.

    I'll go for Miller.

Hudson and Whitts my first two. Then it was between Kenny and Joe. I just think Kenny has been important over the whole season. Joe has been excellent the last 5 or 6 weeks though. Still Kenny gets my 3rd vote :) Turner was very very close!

Hudson and Joe as first 2 choices.

3rd would be Marshall, has made the odd error (Cov's 2nd goal <doh>) but has also won us a number of points with excellent saves - last night for instance.

Agree with this post but go for Whits. I don't think he's missed a minute of the season, has he? He's beginning to look tired but he's so important to us. Hudsn'ns presence is all important, somthing I never would have thought I'd find myself typing a year or so ago.

Gunner Hudson and Mason for me although I only clicked on Gunner before I submitted SORRY!

Reason for my choice Gunner for me has been the find off the season he tackles can run with it played a load of games and can score yet still so young, Hudson has been rock solid and continues to improve after that poor start he had with us he looks well worth what we paid for him now if not more. As for Joe I know allot of people have said he has been the find off the season and he has been some find scored goals and played really well for his age I can only see him getting better and better. Still I go for gunner a free transfer compared to a fee 250K for Mason and the goal scoring centre mid we have missed in recent years.

i voted for whittingham, with hudson, turner and mason (only read 3 votes thing after sorry <doh>).

whittingham is undoubtably player of the season because he's the best player at the club and has been excellent all season, but i also give credit to the 2 centre backs as they've played a big part in what has mostly been a very solid and dependable defence, and mason because he's grown into a first team player who has a big future in the game, his goal at wembley etc.

No problem ccfcrt0p and Swamp...3 is a guideline number. If you really wanted 4 or just 1, it is fine. 3 seems a nice standard.

Mason and Turner have been my 1 + 2 (not because of Wembley)
Mason has been the find of the century and Turner, although it took him a few games to get up to speed, has been a rock at the back alongside Huds.

No3 could go to any of the above named but I'd give it to Cowie purely for his endeavour, commitment and Duracell ability in every game. Not flash or headline grabbing but does the good things quietly from KO to final whistle.

    Siam!
Why are we limited to eleven choices?

Only reason I ask is because McPhail and Kiss were both key players in our earlier November good run and as our fortunes change recently look who are back in contention.

I drew the line at 25 appearances.

Kiss, Gerrard, Lawrence and McPhail have only been involved in 25, 20, 11 and 18 games respectively, so I didn't think anyone would pick them as out player of the season.

He has been great. I am surprised that Mason is leading actually. A bundle of talent but our best player this season.....

    Cheers Siam!

McPhail would have been a cert for me had he been included, but from the choices available it's Huds, Turner and the Gunner.

I went for Cowie, Mason & Turner. All new boys who have had very good first seasons. Cowie because we havnt had a player like him, box to box terrier, in a long while and he does alot of the grud work to allow Whittingham etc to shine.

Marshall & Mason best two IMHO...third either Hudson or Turner.....OK Huds.

This is pointless in a way because at the end of the day it has been a squad effort....mark everyone for their performances whilst on the field
and Naylor, Quinn, Earnie, Kiss, Heaton, Ralls, Rudy and others would all have a shout....overall, whatever happens nest week a great season
& can't wait till nest season, whatever division we're in.
