Can you have Away Direct but not a season pass?

Thing with away direct for me is that i work some Saturdays so i finish at 12 i can easily get to every home game but not every away one. I never had a problem in the Premier League with getting away tickets either, i tended to get everyone i applied for, so away direct for me is probably redundant.

Don't take that as read, it's not direct info from the club, it's just something I've seen posted on CI.

Well we have finally Lost...Portsmouth - Coventry and Doncaster to be replaced by Charlton + 2 yorkshire teams hopefully so thats a vast improvement for the travelling fans.

With Reading gone up and Wolverhampton now down thats also an improvement on travelling. Away direct looks a better prospect all the time yet again.

I hope that Southampton and Cardiff make up the 2 remaining promotion slots and most of the long away trips will be gone. Happy days.

Bristol, Brighton, Palace, Millwall, West Ham and Charlton aren't exactly local.

The last 4 are a doddle on the train. So that just leaves Bristol and Brighton but i fear DQPR may yet get the drop.

QPR aren't exactly difficult to do on train, and I don't know what the situation was at Brightion but their train station is right next to the ground. Even though you have to change at Brighton and then piss about in London you should be on the way back out of Brighton before most people get out the car park.

Bristol and Brighton are much easier and cheaper to get to than any in the Smoke. Horrible place that London!

I dont have an issue with long trips just the amount of them. I am now going to do ALL the London clubs via train next season and drive to Bristol and Brighton. It will be nice to have more clubs no more than 3 hours or less away from Hull. Hopefully 2 extra Lancs away days as well next season.

    Indeed.

When it comes to London i prefer to let the train take the strain for a change. Mrs T gets a heads up on prices for the train now.

If everyone thought that this seasons championship was exciting and wide open then next seasons should be even better. imo. Away supporters @ the KC should also improve.

WOLVES APPOINT Norwegian Stale Solbakken(played for the old Wimbledon in 1997/98 and was sacked by Cologne last month) as Manager for next season. He takes charge from 1st July BBC sport reports.

That means Terry Connor is available. A manager with Premier League experience. <doh>

this season we got messed about at Brighton with the late kickoff. It was too late to get a train back to Hull. Along with Portsmouth & Southampton being evening fixtures all the South Coast games were difficult this year.

Terry Connor was interviewed on 5Live before Wolves played Arsenal. I can't remember the purpose of the interview but I think it was to do with the Wolves players still referring to Mick McCarthy as "the gaffer" even though he had been sacked.

TC's comments were along the lines of "I don't really want to comment on that. I am just getting the players ready for the Arsenal game, and identifying any weaknesses Arsenal may have".

The presenter asked TC what weaknesses he had identified in Arsenal to which TC replied "they haven't got any"!!!!

With tactical nous like that, and a 0% win record as a manager I think he'll go a long way in management

Has that been confirmed? Last I saw the BBC weren't sure what (if any) role he would have.
