so what do we all reckon lads a big performance against the potential champions or another abysmal away defeat.what the hell i am going anyway,it may be a bloody long time until we play them again so lets make the most of saturday and enjoy the day out.good luck to charlton after saturday, they deserve to win the league with the football they have played this season and i hope they go on and do a norwich and get promoted again.
i do like charlton, i suspect they will be challenging up the right end of the championship next season... hopefully as they are now promoted they will take the foot off the gas and we could take a win. i just hope waddock plays grant and gets the chance to play doherty
Well said guys, and thank you. Unfortunately, I don't think we'll be taking the foot off the gas, but let's say things will be a little less tense than of late... Still trying to work out the Hayes thing, can't fathom that at all, but if the Doc has done well for you hope we release him to you at the end of the season. There's some very interesting odds being offered at the moment about the outcome of our Championship campaign next season - 12/1 to be promoted, 33/1 to go up as Champions. Hope you all enjoy yourselves at The Valley on Saturday.
I'm going more for the day out and my first visit to the Valley than in any hope of a much needed win. I suspect they will be wanting to go all out and confirm the title on home soil which spells bad news for us!
Could be in for an exhibition. The good news is it isn't being televised. On the other hand we are full of surprises.
strevs not impressed with charlton boss http://www.bucksfreepress.co.uk/sport/9653648._We_needed_Hayes_more_than_Charlton_/
Have a good time in London Town fellas, there's some good boozers round there. Perfect places to drown sorrows in and I have a fear we may be on the brink at 4.45pm on Saturday.
charlton boss replies to strevs critisism over hayes http://www.newsshopper.co.uk/sport/football/charlton/9659712.Valley_boss_rejects_Strevens__criticism_of_Hayes_recall/
It's going to be a bit of a funny game, the boys had Sunday & Monday off to celebrate but have worked hard the rest of the week. I would like to say it's going to be open and entertaining but....... we both want 3 points for different reasons so I'm not sure??? There will be 20,000 plus there so get to the ground early, plus those kind people at the Olympics have closed a road near the ground because they are having a trial event at one of the stadia on Woolwich Common..... roads near the ground will be busy! anybody driving please note. Anyway, all the best boys
cheers all hell,no traffic problems for my lot unless there are leaves on the track.on a serious note i am looking forward to the game it should be a great atmosphere.as for trying to predict the score and result i havent got a clue,on paper charlton should win comfortably but wycombe are very unpredictable this season.
we are capable of scoring lots of goals and dont quote me but beever our top scorer has got more than brp.shame our defence aint as good as yours
hopefully it will be a cracking game and atmosphere, cant wait for it... my first visit to the valley since the carling cup win so hopefully the same heriocs will happen again!
