Coquelin could come in as a defensive midfielder (DM) with Song moving into Arteta's position (CM) and Rosicky staying as attacking midfield (AM) Coquelin could directly replace Arteta in CM. Benayoun could replace Arteta in CM. Oxo could replace Arteta in CM. Rosicky could replace Arteta with Oxo taking AM. Rosicky could replace Arteta with Benayoun taking AM. Like many others I don't see Ramsey as an option at this point. Also, assume Coquelin would be fit.
ramsey isn't a viable option the way he's playing. coquelin has been injured but should be back this week. oxo can't play in midfield because he needs space to run at players. there is none in the middle of the park. wenger should have sacrificed walcott for chambo a lot earlier and left benayoun on.
The only player with the passing ability to do Arteta's role is Coquelin - he can do a bit going forward too, got pace and technique and a step over or 3.
he's brilliant glue - makes us a bit cohesive instead of ragged. Now with a holding guy to stay back, and a Fabregas going forward.... dreaming again.
i dont think it matters who we think to be honest itll be ramsey in cm with rosicky as am. I would give coquelin the nod over song who (i know people disagree) must be exhausted though itll be song as holding mid again.
We'd be better off putting on Chamakh playing a 442 and just lumping it up from defence to see if we could get rebounds, than playing Ramsey in the middle.
I agree we shouldnt play ramseu for.now as his confidence may be shattered. I was just stating i think he will.play. Im happu with that but i cant stand abuone.in our team being booed.
Coq or Oxo I'd like to see Oxo play as a winger instead of CM so when Coq is fit play him there because Coq looks quality
Is Koscielny back for Chelsea? I was thinking that another option could be to put Vermaelen in DM with Song in front of him. As much as I think Djourou is terrible, Vermaelen in midfield could be the best option. Maybe Walcott could move into the middle as an AM, with Oxo on the wing. Many options, but like Cb says, Ramsey will probably get the nod, and we'll probably lose
Kossy is back. But playing TV in a new role against Chelsea might not be wise. Coquelin is back in training and I think we should throw him in.

No disrespect to either player but Chelsea are slow and I'd rather we hit them with quicker players. Boo-urns.
Chelsea are having a good spell helped massively by awful refereeing and a terrible Spurs performance, but I honestly believe they are very vulnerable. If we don't win on Saturday our momentum will have gone and the final 3 games are anything but easy. So I would put this team forward. ...............Szczesny......... Sagna ..Kos..Vermaelen..Gibbs .............Song...................... Oxo......Rosicky.........Coquelin ..... ...Walcott......RVP....... I would tell them to tackle the beejazus out of Chelsea. even Walcott! and play with the same intensity that we did against Spurs. If not Drogba will dive Chelsea to a win and our Champions league ambitions will be severely dented.
