No matter how negative I think some of guys are and despite the fact that I disagree with certain people about certain players
You guys seem like true Gooners through and through and you are a pretty cool lot

  3. OK so I think we need one change to the rules. If OXO posts anything like this again, we're allowed to be personally abusive to him for the period of one week. Agreed? :emoticon-0136-giggl

I'd like to reserve the right to be abusive to Ammaar when he gets ideas above his station too ;)

I'm very willing to keep our differences of opinion to a simple 'let's agree to disagree' if we can't find a middle ground.

But the ultimate solution would be : You stop talking bollocks and I won't have to pull you up for it <whistle>;)<ok><peacedove>

What a load of balls. Let's all fight instead.

Actually I think this is a very good post.

Lately i have closed 3 threads on this board. The first one was about Alan Davies' remarks about Hillsborough,as the thread was descending into petty abuse i closed it.My last post was "show some respect for the dead".The second thread closed was also about Alan Davies and was posted by a Chelsea WUM.I told the WUM that if he wanted to pick a fight with the LFC fans then to do it on the Liverpool or his own team's board. The third thread i closed was posted by someone calling himself "I'm a ******" who said he lived in "paki land".I don't know about other members but as far as i'm concerned racists are not welcome on our board.I have never closed or deleted a thread because i disagreed with it but i have no worries about closing threads where people try to score cheap points over a tragedy or where people use racist language.Perhaps the next time you accuse me of something you should check the facts first <ok>

PISKIE - and you said it with a straight face too.

Threads have been closed by mods who write "closing because this is an obvious wind up article" when the content is nothing more than criticism of Arsenal FACT. It happens far too often.

I find these threads highly amusing. As someone who only dips into the forum occasionally (Mon-Fri 9-5...) I have no real affinity with either 'party' but there are quite clearly two factions here.

You can all but guarantee that once a month there will be a:

    * "Why attack (insert player here)" thread.
    * "Why are you so positive" thread.
    * "Why aren't we real fans" (used by both factions).
    * A two week calling off period where Jayram and PISKIE love each other again.

It's like feckin' clockwork I tells thee. Man up you bunch o' tarts, it's a forum and would be mighty dull if everyone agreed.

Magic Man, what is your malfunction ? This is EXACTLY what we are talking about. If YOU don't like what is being discussed go away, freedom of speech and all that. so what if there are 1000 articles like this, do you feel the need to comment on them all ? Get a life.

Nope - I am not willing to let bygones be bygones, I will show the fools to be fools if they behave as such <ok>

I have no real problem with the mods, PISKIE is welcome to voice his opinion as an Arsenal fan and argue with the rest of us, I've NEVER had a problem with it .. even when it gets personal. I have a problem with hypocrisy however, if you are going to give it you have to take it, too many people cried off to the mods about Jayram, for example, when all he was doing was fighting his corner - and got him banned. He simply responded in kind.

And I have witnessed first hand mods closing threads that they deemed WUM attempts when they were not. Its then you run into trouble because it is the same mods that argue vehemently with those who criticise the club and them having the power to close threads on a whim is nonsense. Either they mod and close threads and stay impartial or they argue but don't close threads - they shouldn't do both.

Most forums have an irrational amount of fans who often vent their frustrations one week then take it back when we win a few games. I prefer to save judgement of Arsene and the team at the end of the season when real change can be made to help us move forward. Does that mean getting rid of Arsene as some fans have suggested? Not IMO but a good dip in the transfer market over the summer and better assistance for Arsene in the running of the team will help us a great deal. I think Arsene has been running on fumes the last couple of seasons and we are still managing to get into the top four. If things don't change squad wise next season we could get caught
    Napping.

Phew! For a minute I thought this forum was going to get dull and reasonable. Luckily the entertainment isn't far away.

I didn't know jayram got banned. Its very sad that opinions can't be voiced without having to follow a sheep mentality of agreeing with a mod so you don't become unpopular.
