Fernando Alonso predicts damage limitation for Ferrari at Bahrain Grand Prix Ever the optimist I'm sure he has the tallent to fight that car up to 5th-6th
Is it worth pointing out that the championship leader has done bad in the race? So does this mean that Hamilton won't do too well? It's just a pattern i've noticed, but they all start from somewhere.
I wondered if there might be an additional zone in the run up to turn 4 but apparently not. As pointed out by my stepdad, detection point is a LONG way from the activation point...
This will surely be a McLaren 1-2 with Mercedes taking the rear followed by a train of RB's and Lotus'. trying to kill each other.
Basically Sea man: Jenson won Australia, he then failed to make points in Malaysia. Alonso then leads after winning Malaysia, he then has a bad race in China. Now the leader is Lewis, so will it happen in Bahrain for Lewis? To be honest it could just be the winner who gets a **** race the next time round, so Rosberg might scew up or something this weekend etc...
Disappointed with another conservative deployment of DRS zones, Bahrain could easily have had 4 zones if they really wanted to push the technology. T15-1, T3-4, T10-11 and T14-15 could all have had zones. Even if they wouldn't be long enough for a clean 'DRS overtake', if anything thats preferable as it forces the attacking driver to fight a bit harder.
That would give him 450 points and probably the championship! The question is whether or not he is driving within himself or whether these are his ultimate finishing positions?
Bit of both I'd say. To not destroy his tyres he can't be aggressive as he was, which means he may be losing some ultimate speed, but also he is not taking any risks so is driving in a calculated manner to get the best points from the position he finds himself in. very Prost-esque all of a sudden!
Never that good at maths! 20 x 3rd places would be 300 points and still in with a shot of the championship unlike the mystical 450 I previously quoted!!!!
