    We can do it.
Good as they are, Barca can be beaten and I can guarantee you there is no fear in that Chelsea team.

Very true Blueboy, they have played them enough times to know what to expect and enough to know how to beat them. <ok>

Who do you reckon we're going to play in the final then Drogs, Bayern or Madrid?

I think Bayern would be better. I reckon Jose always has a nack of haunting his old clubs...

Agreed, a Madrid win tonight and it will pretty much all be over. A Bayern win and it is all to play for at the Bernabeu. Over both legs I fancy Real to see it through though as they have that bit more quality in their side, plus there is also the Mourinho factor and both of those things I believe will trump Bayern's dream of playing the final in their own ground.

Lose lose for us tbh! If we somehow go through to the final, playing Bayern at their own ground in the greatest competition on earth will be no picnic, same goes for playing our old boss' team.

I'd like to see a Madrid - Chelsea final as Mancs, Scouse, Arse and Sp uds won't know what to do.
They obviously wouldn't want Chelsea to win but a win for Madrid would be a win for Mourinho, and thats just as bad. It'd be his third CL win, one more than Fergie and in half the time.

Just watched it on sky. It was all Bayern the Germans looked comfortable on the ball. They like to get Ribery and Robben on the ball a lot to give width most of the play is from those two. Munich use Lahm on the over lap to deliver the crosses towards Gomez. Real got a goal but they just defended after that they weren't adventurous enough.

a 0-0 or any form of win will give us a chance.

Is a 5-0 with red cards for Messi, Xavi and Iniesta too much to hope for though?!?!

    My team would be

    cech
    ivanovic cahill terry cole
    mikel lampard
    sturridge mata ramieres
    torres

would be pretty confident with that team, sturridge could do damage down the right, he's a confident player and i dont think playing against barca will phase him

ramieres on the left could do a job against alves bombing up and down the pitch.

torres gets the nod as his record against barca is good (albeit a long time ago) 7 goals in 10 games against them. Think drogba would be more effective as a sub with 30 mins to go rather than torres too.

If Ivanovich is on Messi, who is going to stop Iniesta (I assume he is playing as right back)? Given Messi comes through the centre, Luiz would have been mobile enough to give Messi issues. Terry or Cahill will get bamboozled.

In all honesty, Cahill seems to be the major worry. I'm not that concerned by Terry. Obviously I don't know RDMs tactics and I don't know Barcas but I assume Ramires or Essien will be given the Iniesta or Xavi job.
