Dont know if anyone has posted already!

For best celebration in 20 years of the premier league! has to be the winner IMO, remember seeing it and a) laughing head off and b) wondering why he was so angry that he just scored!!! some crackers in the videos.

    No I won't!

Mine would be Asprilla when he did 3 head over heels, took off his shirt, attached it to the corner flag and wave the flag at the crowd.

    THE BEST EVER

Apart from it ruled him out of the next game which proved very costly.

Ketsbaia was angry because he thought he should be playing more. He had got a bit of cult status with some of our fans. I never saw it myself, he was just running around like a headless chicken to me. He had heart and passion, and some natural footballing ability but he never really coupled that with footballing nous. I'll never forget Shearer shaking his head in disbelief at home to Everton as Temuri ran from one end of the pitch to the other, then back again, never releasing the ball!

Still liked it despite the yellow! ridiculous as good celebrations are part of the entertainment.

I agree. I understand the shirt being removed to reveal messages. Its open to abuse and therefore tricky. But I think if you take your shirt off and swing it around your head, or have the humour to stick it on the corner flag, then why not. he wasn't enciting fans or anything, just showing genuine human emotion. We've lost the plot in this regard.

just looking there and saw shearers one, now i know he was a legend, but his celebration wasnt the most mega in the world. i think when he scored his 200th goal he changed it to a double V sign - and got the **ss ripped out of him by the team.

I think by best, they must also mean iconic. Shearer's like you say was no great shakes. We did get to see it a lot though!!

To be honest if Cantona doesn't get it there is something wrong. The pure arrogance of that moment was legendary and summed the man up. He was arrogant as they come but at least he backed it up!

I voted for him, also voted for the 4-4 we had last year as the best match. Was my first premier league match and I'll never forget it, sat to the right of the other goal, and was right behind Tiote when he curled in his volley. That was a good celebration too that involved Harper giving poor Best's bum the people's elbow on the top of a heap of Toon players =)

Took a pic just as Tiote was about to strike the ball for that goal. Also had one of Harper's badly timed celebration.

    Possibly still on the computer.

For everything it represented... The shearer goal vs Mackems (1-4) because minutes later the lion of Gosforth lay mortally wounded on the ground as his decades of battle took their toll and his powers finally faded out..... He celebrated with so much gusto and the place went ****ing bonkers

None are as good as the Stjarnan celebrations. Except every player in the team got booked for one of, resulting in three red cards for second yellows, as the ref was an arse.
