I'd have to go with venison which has a glorious rich flavour. It can be a bit on the dear side though, Doe!! I love it with freshly murdered vegetables in a casserole. Sumptious. What's everone else's favourite meat (including fish).
veal or venison tried proper kobe beef when i was in japan which was tremendous, but dont get scammed into gettin it here as the japs dont even export it and it costs about £50 a steak
Lamb for me.Nothing like a leg of Lamb coming out the oven with a few classes of the red stuff on a Sunday Afternoon after walking back from the pub after a few ciders.
**** it. With all this veggie/meat malarkey I'm starving. Gonna make a bacon sarnie so you **** are the blame for the pigs death.
You can't beat the taste of a rib-eye steak from a cow that you've personally slaughtered, butchered and left to hang in the cellar for a month.
I roast lamb with a couple of glasses of red wine poured over it and covered, melts in the mouth and the gravy made from the juices is to die for.
Ostrich was lovely. Simply cooked on a griddle with some fries on the side, delicious. Had Kobe beef too, not bad but it wasn't a patch on the bit of well done prime rib I had at the same time. I have yet to find any kind of meat that I didn't like but not a fan of fish. Cod & chips is about as much as I usually do but have tried to eat more salmon following doctor's advice. Sadly I have to admit that I don't like stuff like rare steak, it might be sacrilege but I perfer it cooked all the way through.
I've not been up in ages and I've got a new sort-of-nephew to meet so, aye. I'll PM you when I'm in town - keep that coinpurse smooth for me, sweetie xx
Sorry ER, I place a few carrots and onions in with the lamb then I slowly murder them in the oven. We have a large vegetable patch or "The Killing Fields" as we call it.
ive been meaning to try ostrich, was watchin hells kitchen a few years back and bruce grobelaar said its the best meat you can get so it must be class
I will vouch for Rudolph the Reindeer being tasty. The home made reindeer burger I had in Norway was very good. But for me a top class fillet steak is hard to beat.
