RVP and wellbeck for me... if bale gets yuong player its a joke... what have they won??

What has RVP won? And don't say the Emirates Cup

 

league top scorer.. the golden boot. thats all... not his fault the rest of his team are gash. He is the one truely outstanding and deserving player for player of the year... left foot, right foot, head, assists he's done it all.

Welbeck has done ok and i'd count him as a young player this season only. thats why i think he deserves it.

BTW rooney doesn't deserve an award this time round nor does valencia... rvp has done it all year.

 

Why does Wellbeck deserve Young Player? He's got talent but surely, if you take the whole season in to account, then somebody like Hoilett deserves it more.

 

RVP has broken the record for the most goals scored by a single player in one year and has scored goals galore this season. He has been the best player in England this season. Definitely player of the season.

I think Welbeck for Young player is fair. But Kyle Walker has been pretty awesome for Spurs, and in my opinion Bale is the best player in the League.

Aguero is younger than I thought he was. He could win it to. In fact I'll probably give him my vote if I had one.

Tho' if Rooney scores four more goals than RVP in the last four games and gets the golden boot, would he deserve POTY?

I'd put Sturridge ahead of him tbh, he's scored and created more for Chelsea despite AVB being almost militantly opposed to playing him up front. Bale and Aguero have been better, but it's a stretch to call them young players any more. And like dave says, Hoilett should definitely be up there above AOC given how well he's played in a relegation scrap.

In fact, tbh it's utterly farcical how players like Parker, Hart and AOC have been listed purely on the basis of playing for top four clubs when Cabaye, Krul, Vorm, Ba, Hoilett and many others have done so much more this season.

Tbh I'm surprised Valencia hasn't even been nominated. He has the same number of assists as Silva despite having played ten fewer games and has been one of the most consistent players this year in spite of injuries. I don't think he deserves to win it, but I think he deserved a mention.

Also players over 37. Think we'd only need two nominations for that one

 

Does anybody know how this shortlist was created?

 

Yeah, have to say i was suprised Valencia wasnt nominated. I think they should be announced at the end of the season personally but hey ho as it stands I'd go for Van persie, consistant against the top sides aswell as everyone else.

 

Bale the best player in the league

 

Charlier Adam.....whats the consensus on him ? cant see him being sold this summer so he WILL be in our squad next season. That name on the team sheet eradicates any optimisim even this scouser can summen up.
