So cos he got beat up by some foreigners he doesn't like kebabs? Am I right haha what a knob although I must admit I'll never go to turkey
Me neither, but that's because I don't fancy squatting in the bogs when I'm pissed. Can you imagine the state you might get into? Especially if you've had a dodgy kebab!
Dickhead Although i used to go to Turkey quite a lot, i stopped going after what happened, some friends of mine have been back and say that when they wear their leeds shirts the locals make a point of speaking to them are so apologetic at what happened.
I used to work in Turkey. This guy is a prat. Most Turks would feel embarassed by what happened. Every country has its footballing prats, & Turkey is no different. To even suggest getting a kebab shop moved away from ER because of what happened shows complete ignorance. The guy who owns/runs it deserves a medal for having the sphericals to stay. Bet he doesn't support the murderers
I can't agree with him either. If the shop was displaying Galatasaray badges, I'd be more than happy to make the owner's life hell until his shop moved it out of our city, but Big Jon's argument genuinely is in the belief that all Turks are scumbags who hate Leeds United. Informed by a couple of unlucky experiences obviously, but that's no way to go about life. Generalizations like his are ****ing stupid.
The guy's talking bollocks as its got nothing to do with the Turkish restaurant owners what his fellow countrymen did Me and my missus are going to Turkey again this year for the third year running but maybe if I was Leeds then who knows I might feel different
I've met many Leeds fans that share Big Jon's views, they hate Turks with a passion and there is no talking to them with any sort of analogy ie "if Man Utd fans had killed a couple of turks you would be pissed off if Turks blamed you for what they did", i've seen them fall out with fellow Leeds fans because they have gone to Turkey on holiday,'Traitors' is the words used. They look at me like i've just shat in their mouths when i mentioned i used to knock about with a few Turks at Millwall back in the day.
Ringo - and now you have met (sic!) a load of Leeds fans who can't abide such a way of thinking. There are pig-**** thick little people throughout the world - they have every right to air their pathetic little views, and we have every right to let them know we want nothing to do with them
