    On a serious note did anyone else think it sounds significant that we haven't won for 9 games without Inman? Heard he's alright but he must be half-decent if the entire team are depending on him.

    Tash. Will you please stop using the word "rape" in a footballing context. It's not big and it's not clever. In fact it's downright offensive.

    BTW, in case your vocabulary needs expanding, some other words that could have been used, to convey the sentiment you wished to convey are as follows:-

    routed;
    crushed;
    destroyed;
    lambasted;
    vanquished;
    walloped;
    whipped;
    clobbered;
    bulldozed;
    maimed;
    smashed;
    pounded;
    pulverized.

    Fair enough cbra. However, this something I feel fairly strongly about. Imagine that someone posted a thread using, for example, a term associated with child abuse, to make a point about how easy it was to break through the opposition defence. There would be hell on, and rightly so.

    Whilst not maybe as hugely offensive, the use of the word "rape" in a footballing context is still completely unacceptable imo. If young lads like Tash, who know no better, wish to use such terminology in private, so be it. However, when he does so, on a public forum, it's up to those with a position of responsibility, to step in and rectify the situation. Maybe then eventually the penny might drop.

    Sorry to bang on about this, but as I said, it's something I feel quite strongly about.
