I think Lorimer has to balance his love for the club with the fact that he's on Bates' payroll, and Bates knows (or thinks) that if Lorimer is seen to be agreeing with him it will help get the fans on board. It must be difficult, and it's sad to watch, but I think Lorimer's having to do what's best for him. Also has anyone else noticed that Bates is already on his "well lots of agents will be on holiday for a long time..." spiel? EDIT: Shame for Rogers as well, looked decent in that one clip, hopefully he'll be fit in time to get some pre-season in.
I'm wondering whether he'll be given the chance to a) be kept on at the club and b) if he is kept on, will he get any playing time whatsoever? It'll be hard for him to prove himself from here on in I think

I don't see him being moved on, Warnock clearly rates him and he impressed during the short time he had. I can see him getting game time, as you need a strong squad to utilise if you want promotion and I see him playing a part in that, possibly similar to the role Sam played last season.

I've never shot you down for anything you said. I been frustrated to hell with playing hoofball to a diving whinging fanny who never wins a header, I love the guy but I can't help but feel that we missed our chance of getting good money for him last year when he was about 3 stone lighter!!!
