This has just been announced by reuter..

    Spurs target boss

    Swansea City, 21:08, April 16, 2012

Brendan Rodgers is again being linked with a move to Tottenham as reports claim Spurs are ready to pay £5m compensation.

Swansea may have lost four Premier League games on the bounce but that takes nothing away from Rodgers who has worked miracles at the Liberty Stadium this season.
It comes as no surprise to see Rodgers linked with a move away from the club and there could be vacancies this summer at Tottenham and Chelsea, jobs that are sure to appeal to the Northern Irishman.
Tottenham are ready to make a move when Harry Redknapp takes the England job and reports claim that they will offer the Swans £5million in compensation to secure a deal.
Rodgers is happy at Swansea and has just penned a new three-and-a-half year deal but he will no doubt have his head turned if Tottenham make an approach.
Jose Mourinho and David Moyes are also being linked and Swans fans will be hoping Spurs officials plump for one of them and stay well away from south Wales.

Thing is there is nothing new in these reports which are the same ? So it's just idle chatter that we have seen before

But Superswan how can it be a done deal when they already have a manager ? I don't think the FA will give spurs the inside track on whether they are trying to sign redknapp, why would they? This report contains nothing new with no quotes from anyone.

i think it has all been sorted a while back, Harry knows he will be taking over the england job and spurs want brendan in place the day harry leaves so they wont be managerless,

This seems like old news re-hashed to me. Anyway, if he goes he goes .personally i think spurs would be mad to take him, the guy still has plenty to learn and wont get the same amount of support if it starts going tits up at the lane. The dirty side of the game is something buck needs to learn about, i would leave well alone until he can beat paul lambert on a regular basis <laugh>

That's pretty well the reason I'd take the 5,000,000 Norway , it will be the Spurs taking there chance with there money .. not us !

this sounds like pure speculation to me, though i agree that levy would be silly (which he's not) not to know the situation and whether harry will get the england job, if he does then i think he already has his shortlist in place.

though i think rodgers would jump at the chance to move to a more established club, but i think he needs another year at swansea to further enhance his reputation, as 95% of the time the big jobs in football go to experienced managers....
