Just watching the analysis - absolutely no excuses for the first goal.

Benayoun signalling to the bench that Arteta is injured and not even watching Wigan break away till it was too late. It's just totally unforgivable and shows the team do not know how to concentrate. Why has this not been discussed and dealt with in training.

 

Yeh it has to be said, fair play to Wigan. Reading the predictions thread, not many of us even had Wigan down to score so for them to stun us like that is phenomenal. If they end up beating us and United back-to-back, they better bloody stay up.

I think it comes back to the reason, why we would never win anything, that lack of mental toughness, a win today would have put us 8 point ahead of the chasing pack, what do we do we conspire to snatch defeat again from the jaws of victory..... When it really matters we just can't or don't deliver....... Why do we always have to make things difficult for ourselves?
