Now we've all calmed down after the Stoke game..

..is relegation a possibility in your opinion?

I didn't see the stoke game, I was on a plane to Orlando. When I landed and checked the score I felt sick and angry, 4-0 to a "scum" team who play ugly football (and annoyingly - it works!)

Having just returned I have not seen any highlights etc. I just know we've been pretty sh*t in the two games leading up to Stoke. I presume we were sh*t against Stoke too.

I would expect a total of 43ish points would make you safe. I think we will achieve it, what about you?

 

Firstly, i hope you enjoyed your holiday to Orlando. I loved it so much. Universal Studios is class.

Ok on to the main point. We actually outplayed Stoke in midfield, they just pulverised our ****ty defense and captilized on our mistakes. Harper was ****, Sol Campbell was ****, Williamson was ****. Ferguson was the best player by far.

 

Nah i did the BBC table predictor and got us finishing with 45 points
However if we loose to Wolves.......... thats when i start crapping myself

I've gone for yes we will stay up. Although we are definitely in a relegation fight and need to buck up our ideas if we are to do so. Relegation is a possibility but I think we will just about have enough. The Wolves, Blackpool, Brom and Baggies games are crucial for me, we have to pick up at least 7 points from those.

On to the footy, I can understand why he played Campbell, purely for strength, but he's **** man!

Like "thelittlegeordie" said, I think 45-47 points is what we'll end up on, however I know we will get beaten by Wolves. They seem to be up for it more than us over the last few games.

Exactly, but our record against the "sh*tter" teams has me worried. We tend to drop points against them.

Stay up due to the fact there is worse side than us

We're not as poor side technically, we normally dominate teams at home and play the better football, we just lack the bit of quality upfront and a bit of organisation at the back, which lets us down and doesn't get is the results we deserve.

Of course it's possible, but i dont see it happening. Then again, ask me after Wolves...

 

You are not wrong which is why I think relegation is a possibility because some of our other games are far harder on paper. But this is why I still think those four games are so crucial. But hey you never know ... we may sneak a surprise win away from home that nobody expected. After all we have a pretty good record of doing that this season!

 

As its been said before there's other ****ter teams below and above us

 

I still see us staying up.

There are worse teams below us and the position of a 10th to 12th place finish is up for contention.

I know that clearly everyone does, no one likes to see their team get relegated

But because of the players we've been linked with for next season i think we could be really pushing up the league next year and it would be such a shame for it all to be ruined

 

Very BIG possibility for me. Our last three home games against Boro', Pompey and Fulham in our relegation season we took 4 points and still got relegated and got 0 away points.

The same is a HUGE possibility, who now can confidently say the home games against Wolves, Birmingham and West Brom will be enough!?!? Especially when you compare our current form to all the other teams below us.

 

Right, honest opinion I think we will stay up, the year we went down, I was confident until we lost 3-1 at home to Arsenal which was about now.

 

There's a chance we will go down, the same for half the league at the moment but we are among the favourites to survive.

Just did the BBC predictor and I hae us finishing in 11th with 45pts.

West Ham, Wigan and Wigan going down, Blackburn just staying up.

 

I would love this to happen! Wigan going down twice would be a dream! ha
