If you're going to rant about someone cheating or cheaters in the game then the rule should apply to everyone including Daws. If young gets us a penalty in the final of euros against th germans I'll expect another of your threads...right? although I think you'll be ok.
It wouldn't happen for several reasons. The main one being that we won't get past the group stage. The second one being that Young would get booked for ' simulation'. The reason I have highlighted Young is the simple fact I cannot honestly recall seeing two such blatant and ****ing infuriating dives by one player that won penalties in such a short space of time. For your information when Fryatt went down like a sack of spuds against Boro when no ****er touched him I shouted at him to get up and stop being a tit. Maybe it's just me.
Ryan Tayor at Newcastle tweeted that "Ashley Young is an absolute DISGRACE. He's the biggest cheat in the league. His antics are a joke" but has since deleted the thread , tho he is still talking about it .
''red scum''? who's your second team? Meaning who did you support before city started doing well? Leeds? Liverpool? Arsenal? I only ask because I find it very strange that someone who claims to be a city fan could be so anti Manchester United, especially when our club has no rivalry with them. In fact I would say we have a very good relationship with them.
I didn't realise Young was that bad, it's pretty disappointing really because in general I think English players do a lot less of this cheating nonsense than some of the foreign players. Bit of a let down by Young if you ask me. The Man U effect is nonsense though, absolute bollocks and I'm completely with City1904 on this. People hate them for no other reason than they are good. There are loads of teams who get a lot of penalties. Mark Noble has scored a ridiculous number of penalties for West Ham this season and we all know how good Burnley are at getting them. Man U, as City has shown, don't get any more than other teams. If you want to talk about a particular team for cheating it should (excluding Leeds of course) be Arsenal. They've calmed down a bit in the last couple of years but at one point they were terrible for cheating. That Eboue was ridiculous.
It's just been confirm that Ashley Young will be partnering Tom Daley in the synchro diving in this years Olympics.
Kevin. I have explained my hatred, and yes that's what it is, of Man Utd previously. I'd be very surprised if I was the only one on here who hates them. My second team in Cowdenbeath by the way. Up the 'Beath.
The best team in the world has plenty of cheats in it like Busquets, cheating is endemic in the game. The only way to stop it would be to have a Cloughie style zero-tolerance of indiscipline at clubs, but the players run the show these days it seems.
I read this board rather than post on it. (Well most of the time anyway) and I would like to point out that i think the majority of stuff you post is decent. I just think that a hatred of a paticular big club smacks of supporting one of their rivals prior to cty being successful. Apologies if thats not the case.
No mate it's nothing to do with seeing them as a rival for a previously supported team. The Beath have never played Man Utd as far as I'm aware. My dislike comes from Sky reds and the amount of grief my boy gets for supporting City from 80% of his school mates. Perhaps I need to calm down, life's too short.

It was terrible to see Young dive like he did, he's not the only culprit out there but its something that is spoiling the game. I read an article in the paper by Gary Neville talkign about this very issue. 20 years ago when he was in the Man United youth team you'd have been for a bollocking if you did what Young did or show that the slightest bit of contact hurt you. You were expected to carry on. When said team came to play teams on the continent they found players would play act after challenges that nobody would bat an eyelid over in England. Neville said this began to change the ethos of the game in England with the influx of foreign players and attitudes of coaches changing to those of the continental teams with regards to diving and play acting after injuries. Sadly this is there for all to see, the amount of diving and play acting going on in the game is appaling at times.
I wouldn't be ok with it. Much depends of course on what you want to get out of the game but for me there is no glory in winning by unfair means like that. That applies to Ashley Young for England, Andy Dawson for Hull City or anybody for any team. Just because diving and injury feigning goes on all the time is no reason for accepting it. Ashley Young's antics over the last week were horrible to watch, it's not what I call entertainment, and there is nothing wrong in my view in singling him out over others who do it because they were two such bad examples. It doesn't have to mean that you find it generally acceptable. Pompous rant over. Except to say that Ashley Young did have a reputation for it at Villa too, so it's not a Man U thing. He was last season's most, er, 'fouled' player in the Prem.
