Based on position in table -

    Lower half - 19.5K
    Fighting for play-off position - 21k
    Fighting for auto's - 23K
Running away with it - 25K

You omitted spending the whole season in a relegation spot - 14k

Wow, Sheffield Wednesday are a BIG club!

I don't think the Wendies or the Blunts will have the same level as this season if one of them remains in League 1. The despondency factor will definitely kick in.

Season tickets back on sale tomorrow. Will be a price rise but not a particularly significant one I hear. About 9200 sold so far. Hard to predict gates next year. One assumes that they won't be less than this year. I guess there will be a few returning soft-core fans (hard-core never left) and there will be a curiosity element at the start of the season. What happens after that will depend on form i don't think Eddie and others are far off the mark with numbers mentioned earlier.

We will of course get significantly better away supports in the Jimmy Seed, especially of Sheff Weds get up. After all, they are MASSIVE.

Whilst loosely connected to the thread - did you know that The Valley is the capital of Anguilla - now, i bet you didnt know that !!

And that Red Robin burgers in the States is named after the song 'Red,Red Robin'.

I think all that Champagne has gone to my head.
    I'll get my coat.

Just checked OS after last post. STs up by fifty quid from Pre Easter. Think that's about right. Less would have made a mockery of the offer, much more would put people off.

Looking at the averages of the teams in Champs, and the assumption that we are going to average over 20k (which should be doable considering there are going to be a substantial number of 20k plus games, such as Palace,Millwall, Brighton,Wolves,Sheeff U and W,Leeds,Notts F) then we are likely to be in top 10 in terms of average gate, and what with Southampton and lets say Wham going up, then we are likely to be in top 5 - and thats even with the 2 Sheffs.
I would expect only Derby,Leeds,Leicester and Sheff Wed to have avergaes above us.

What a mine of information this site is - you're right Stu, I never knew that.

And Cardigan Connor lives there! Saw him and Malcolm Marshall destroy a side between lunch and close of play once - not as quick as Marshall (who was?) but a very fine foil to him and tremendous bowler in his own right.

I think these are decent prices for Championship season tickets, I may have been a tad pessimistic with my estimate of £30 plus for a place in Upper West next season.

    Well, until September, anyway. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Tewks. Apparently this years walk up prices (£18, £22 and £25) will be maintained next season as "standard prices" but some games will have higher classifications and therefore will cost more eg Millwall, Palace, Wham if they stay in the league. Not announced yet but will be soon

Anyone know why the north lower walk up price is much higher than the north upper? 18 compared to 25

NOBODY messes with NU! We just wouldn't take a large price rise.

That's good news, jimbob - back to a grading system, eh?

I used to love the outraged comments of other teams' fans who'd ended up outside the premium grades - only time you'll hear fans complain about getting in for less...
