Injured! I think he's worth keeping because he is still young and a good option from the bench.

I think at the point of the Bolton game, they reckoned another 2 to 3 weeks.

impact sub. His pace is terrifying to tired defences. Remember the Blackburn game

Injured but should be back in the next game or 2, could be a good impact player for the run in though inject some pace in the last 5/10 mins of games

very true but he still needs to sort his end product 1 goal isnt a good enough return for someone with his ability

Really dont think Obertan is going to make it as a player unfortunately, shouldn't get a game for us now unless something drastic happens injury wise.

I agree I do not think Obertron is gonna be a player for us in the future. Its frustrating as he has glimpses of class but hes not consistant.

Obertan should be at the Olympics with France rather than pretending to be a footballer. In all seriousness I'm not sure Saylor will have helped his confidence much on Soccer AM. "Who's the most skilful?" "Again Obertan, very fast feet. Never keeps the ball like but very quick feet!"

He's a good player to keep in the squad to mix things up a bit, especially if you play him through the middle.
He's not the best crosser of the ball, but through the middle where he can run at the defense he can be a real threat. Before he picked up his latest injury I think Pardew was just keeping him out of the squad and looking to give him bit parts to build his confidence up like he has with Ben Arfa and think he is doing like wise with Santon.

I think everyone is harsh of Obertan to be honest! he does get a few assists and is an outlet at times when were under the cosh. We have less skilled players at the club for sure.

I think Pards will basically view him like Walcott. Wenger has worked hard to make Walcott a better footballer. He was all pace no football brain but Wenger has found a way to get effective play out of him. I'm not convinced with Obertan, not least because I think all that brie in your skull must effect your balance/equilibrium.
