I dont give a **** about Aston Villa, the dirty Bastard dived against us, it was only a matter of time before you scored he didnt need to do it but its in his dna he dived when playing for Villa its just that he has perfected his dive now at United.
Since he's been with us, he's only done it twice although with yesterday's penalty, there was contact.
I have come to the conclusion you're an idiot. CArroll Gerrard Ronaldo Young rooney suarez, all could be called divers - an old and well worn out argument. UIR said a pen all day, that was my reply,.. So what the fk are you on about with Carroll? And who cares? they conceded another 3 after that didn't they
I don't care if it happens once or 10 times. The modern footballer is a prat at times regardless of whether they play for United or Chelsea. Every time has them. Anyone who claims that no one in their team cheats is either a fool or blind. Cheating can be either from going down easy under minimal contact, to diving with no contact at all. Handling the ball to gain an advantage to claiming for a throw in or corner you know damn well isn't yours. As I said, every team has them.
i felt might've been a penalty becuase Shaun Derry pushed him in the back Utter nonsense. He touched his shirt (and it was proved on Sky by GARY NEVILLE that Mason couldn't even have seen that from his angle and thought Derry had tripped Young - wrongly). Btw, Christian ****t, how as what I wrote racist?
Donga - you posted: Why do you always seem to drag racism and race into the subject? Not saying you are racist, but this is a discussion about Young and whether he dived. What the hell has race and the colour of a persons skin got to do with anything?
Any future threads about Young to be posted here. I'm going to look for more threads to merge them now.
Donga **** What's racist? You have answered your own questions: in a discussion about diving which is done by Carroll, Gerrard, Bale you FOCUS on Young's colour. "Martin Luther Ferguson, racist thinking, black..." totally irrelevant to the discussion... No wonder the scousers got such wide condemnation with the way they handled Suarez. Even the bufffon thinks he made some mistakes and would have dealt with it differently now.
Good article here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/blog/2012/apr/16/ashley-young-dive Was it a penalty? Maybe, probably not given if Young had not reacted as he did. Would United have won anyway? Yes. Did Young dive? Yes. Did United cheat? No. Ashley Young cheated. Would I be embarrassed if a player at my club dived as blatantly as that? Yes Pretty much sums it up.
Just gives the ABU's ammo to claim Man United cheat. As you said it was not United the team that won the penalty but Young. Bit rich Ryan Taylor slagging Young off though when he plays with Steven Taylor, one of the biggest cheats in the game.
Definitely a penalty, although he did make a meal out out it, it's still a penalty. Not sure why everyone is making such a big deal of it, players make a meal of challenges all the time.
Just one last comment. I have seen the error of my ways. The 20 Man United fans on here who are convinced it was deffo a penalty, and that Young didn't cheat are correct. The other 60 million people in this country are wrong. That's sarcasm by the way, just in case SAF hasn't explained that one to you yet!
Bye. Do one. Your contribution has not been of any relevance. BTW if you have to explain it (the sarcasm, the wit, the joke) then you've failed.
Well I am a Norwich fan and as such neutral. If Tevez had been given his against us would you have called him a cheat? apart from being a couple of inches further up his foot the challenge was identical and the fall less convincing, which is why I suspect he got booked.
No I wouldn't of called him a cheat, I thought he should of had a penalty and it was a bad decision to book him. Sent from my mobile
