Where did the rumour thread go? Talking of this, Adam Johnson played a bit part for City again. Scored again and showed the class he is capable of. Wasted talent at City, if we want British talent...he's the one to get.
It was me! Whenever there is a rumour we get threads anyway plus it was looking a bit messy. Chuck it back up if you want!
Hey guys, want to post this in here as it is fairly secluded to other fans. Seems the booes after the minute silence during the Spurs-Chelsea game was mainly aimed at the culprits. ITV faded out the noise as it got worse but this video shows how bad it actually was...I know it is still a minority, but too many to ignore. It wasn't the boos that was the issue, (as you say it was in reply to the lack of silence) it was the chanting from the chelsea fans of "murderers". Utterly disgraceful, and it was a few hundred fans at least
I said in a post last week on this thread that it was a mistake by the FA to hold a minutes silence at the Chelsea v Spurs semi after they had 'made' Chelsea play on the sunday, and lets be honest the FA knew there was a good chance what could and in the end did happen. The actions of the sick minority of Chelsea 'fans' has now upped the bad feelings between fans of both clubs and could cause a few problems at the final. Thank's FA.
Since the BBC moved its MOTD and 5Live to their new Media City premises in Salford they appear to have employed a local to choose the content of their football webpage, hardly a day goes by were there isn't a boot in the bollocks of some kind for LFC. Today's is two of the examples they chose in their 'tell us your favourite commentary moment' http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17705832
We're about as popular as Thatch at a TUC meeting at the moment, but I try not to take it too personally. Of course the Murdoch press has had it in for us for years but the rest just have to have something to talk/write about, and we're it. They'll get bored when everybody else stops listening and they'll move on to some other poor bastard.
Just heard on radio Merseyside that British Rail have chosen the day of the FA Cup final to do repair work on a stretch of line which means there will be no Liverpool to London trains that day. Their spokesman apologised and recommended Liverpool supporters to trains to London via Manchester and Chester. It doesn't take a genius to realise that there will be a huge increase in Liverpool/London on that particular day,but considering they'll make more dosh by making supporters travel from elsewhere it makes plenty of sense to those money grabbing twats. Edit-This just came up on the Liverpool Echo website. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/live...fa-cup-final-railway-closure-100252-30765921/
mornin bitches Bar the Liverpool game..............................................what a long, rainy, soaked, ****ty ass weekend!
Who cares Bluff?, we won! "...long, rainy, soaked, ****ty ass weekend!" Have you moved to Blighty without cracking on?
yes, but I couldn't enjoy due to the tournament, games, delays, re-schedules. I was up at 5:50 on Sunday for games and spent Saturday out in the rain waiting on what was going on next. But I was able to have a few beers last night with the roomate as he is Chelsea and we had a good reason to have a few. Now the other roomate ( brummie villa boy) was not as thrilled to say the least!
Another game added to our North America tour this summer? http://www.tsn.ca/soccer/mls/story/?id=393315
Probably play in baltimore and then Boston/Toronto. Toronto was a big seller last time when we played Celtic I believe? Should be good revenue and Canadian support as well.
