My semi final induced hangover is gone.

For all you guys who are <30 - enjoy it while you can.

For me at least the hangovers increase exponentially from 30 until it's hardly worth getting pi$$ed! :)

The opposite with me mate, I'm mid-fifities and the older I get the less hangovers affect me. When I was younger I used to feel like John Bonham was practising inside my head but now all I feel is a bit knackered the following day.
I think I've developed a resistance to the effects of alcohol through consistent and diligent exposure to it over the years.
I knew it'd pay off eventually.

Pint of water and Solphadeine and a kickass big fry though she has some reservations about whacking me off at the breakfast table <yikes>

I'm with you saint. The days of the 'whirling pit' are long gone. I can't remember the last time I had a hangover, or was sick through drink. My only problem now is falling over <laugh>

I hadn't thought about it before. Saturday was the fist time in ages that I could be categorised as being pissed. I felt like I'd had a drink and couldn't face any more pints but I wasn't staggering about or feeling sick. However I had had 12 hours of drinking.

Herself picked me up from my mate's place. Had a coffee and then went to bed. Slept for a good 6 hours and woke without a headache. My body did feel like I'd been run over by a train though. No big fry up for Breakfast but a really good early Sunday Lunch.

Have to admit, the days of throwing up and the swirling pit seem to have disappeared.

I stopped when the hangovers started lasting two days. I really haven't missed it. Pointless drug, really.
