Wouldn't mind at all. Seems to have matured in the last year.

Best player by far for QPR this season, doubt they'd want to part with him if they're getting promoted. I expect they'd want a very large fee for him.

Would very much like him here, if the price is right!

  5. I'd take a chance but i reckon QPR would want about 8/10 mil for him. I don't want to pay that much.

I'd take him for 5 million.

Could give them Routledge in part exchange? Say, Routledge + 4 or 5 mil? I dunno how much they'd want.

I think he's a luxury we don't really need....We already have a temperamental flair player who isn't renowned for having much defensive ability at all and if I had to choose I'd take Ben Arfa first any day!

He looks good I admit but I reckon QPR would hold out for about £10 million. They're very well off remember and I don't see them being a selling club.

He's been good this season, just won Football League Player of the Year (an award Nolan won last season).
Soccer AM did a nice collection of his 'showboats' from this season

Very talented and impressive player but he comes with a lot of baggage as Warnock has admitted.

Warnock is essentially the only guy allowed to talk to him and the other players are not allowed to shout at him because it hurts his feelings.

If we play him we need to give him freedom and tell him he doesn't need to defend. We'd need to play him just off the striker, a position I think HBA would be better suited to.

This ^. We don't want to many mercurial hard maintenance types in our squad. And as the man says Ben Arfa is the better player.

I saw an interview with Warnock and apparently none of the other QPR players are allowed to pass to him in their own half, and get fined if they do, because of the risks that he takes with the ball.
He's definitely got alot of tricks up his sleeve, but nobody ever makes compilations of the times that they don't come off.

I can't see how this is still being discussed. QPR are clearly getting promoted and are certainly more willing to spend money than us, why would they sell their player of the season to a team in the same division (hopefully!), barring him kicking off and demanding a move?

January was possible, but not this Summer.

Don't really want players like that then if I'm honest. Wor Hatem is a better player anyway!

Great player, extremely skillful, scores goals and gets lots of assists so would be decent
