Ah right, sorry. That like totally clears everything up. Carroll didnt dive people, Kenny Dalglish said so....
If Young did that in the final of the European Championships no one would complain if the penalty was the winning goal.
The man utd fans have bashed and taunted Saurez all season for doing the same things and then you take the moral high ground when one of your own gets away with murder?? lol Cheating is cheating whatever tint you choose to put on it kids.
Unfortunately, as I was at the match so I have only had one view of it up to now and it certainly looked a stonewall penalty in real time. Once again the Ref, Linesmen and the 75,000 fans don't get the chance to see the incident repeated over and over again from loads of angles and even in slow-mo, so he made his decision and it was a penalty, get over it ! I would just add that Ashley Young seems to go down pretty easily and is knocked off the ball by the opposition with ease.
QPR fan in peace. Well, your man Ashley Young is getting a bit of a name for himself. The incident in question, along with a look at the goal line madness of ref. Martin Atkinson in today's FA cup semi-final, gets a look in this blog post I wrote: http://tinyurl.com/bqnuag6 It's on the long side, so it won't be everyone's cup of tea. Enjoy. Or not.

As clear a penalty as you could get. Clark invaded Young's personal space knowing full well Ashley has OCD and Old Trafford bye-laws state that you're not allowed to even look at Utd players in the penalty box without express permission from Martin Luther Ferguson. Full 'independent' FA commission to to be established by SAF to ban all Villa's defenders for possibly being racist in thinking that a black Utd player would even contemplate diving.
Most professional footballers try to con referees simply because they are coached to do so, that's just the way the modern game is played, even defenders these days are coached to con ref's whenever they are backed into a corner facing their own goal, they back into the attacker and take a dive and 99/100 they will get the free kick, I'm not saying I like the way the modern game has changed but the fact is it has. Barcelona are seen as the team everyone should aspire to be yet they spend more time diving, feigning injury and pressuring the officials to hand out red cards than any other team I have ever watched.
Is Stevie Me's " the DJ wouldn't play any Village People so me and my 6 mates went over and bravely gave him a hiding in self defence " lawyer too busy ?
