http://www.metro.co.uk/sport/oddbal...d-most-hated-company-in-britain#ixzz1HuW5NLdb Hilarious. It just highlights how pathetically bitter and jealous rival fans are
It beggars belief how a football club can be more hated than the banks after the mess they have made. The country is on the verge of bankrupcy and the banks are largely to blame and still people hate United more. It just proves to me how stupid the majority of the British public are.
Just shows more people care about football than the economy I think this survey was carried out by the Sun so it will have been unbelievably thick perverts who voted.
Football teams are developed to entertain fans. Banks have the responsibility to provide money to their customers. Does that give you a clear idea why Sports receives the most hate?
"No other football team is anywhere near as detested as the Red Devils, which secured 26 per cent of the overall vote, as the success, power and huge worldwide following were cited as major reasons for aggrieving football fans." Basically they hate us cos we're successful and have lots of fans
I hate Manchester United but it isn't based on Jealousy or success I just hate the double standards and the bullying manager and gamesmanship. Quite frankly if I was offered a free season ticket I would only use it once then tear it up
Think this comment may illustrate the stupidity of the average member of the British public, do you know how much $$$$'s you get for that!?
That's funny, because they never say that on football forums. They've always got a better excuse than that, for example "we exploit the Munich Air Disaster"
Double standards? Care to explain? As for gamesmanship, maybe we should consider using that vs Chelsea, we might get a few decisions our way for a change. As for the ticket, surely you'd sell it?
I don't give a flying **** what you think personally its my opinion and I won't get any $$$$'s off it from you sonny for it either
Surely you should back your opinion up with proven facts Ginge? Otherwise you're just believing the bullshit you get fed by the tabloids...
Did you not know? alexsugden gives out a million pound prize to the best comment of the day from a non-United fan. But you only get one chance, and he only does it once a year. Hard luck
Nah don't do tabloids swarbs leave that for you besides I don't see why I have to back up my opinion? for what's its worth its just that, an opinion!
I used to dislike Chelsea, but that was when were nip and tuck for the title in 06/07 and 07/08. Plus we contested an FA Cup and Champions League final. I don't mind them as much anymore, but I think that's because our rivalry has cooled a bit. Same goes for Arsenal, but I think the animosity between us the Gooners goes back a bit further. I even disliked Blackburn and Newcastle when they were our closest rivals. But none of these rivalries are on the same level as those with Liverpool, City, and to a slightly lesser extent, Leeds. They endure regardless of the respective fortunes of the clubs. I can understand why Ginger hated us when we were closer rivals, just baffles me a bit why he's still bothered now.
i dont actually hate united anymore, its chelsea and tottenham. and to be fair i hate Lloyds tsb a hell of a lot more...... the robbing fookers
I don't hate Arsenal either I did when they had Vieira, Petit, Keown etc - but the matches between us were alot more intense and physical in those days, and we were the only real contenders for the PL.
Cos we might win the double this season. He's been banging on about Chelsea's double for the last year, stands to reason he's pissed off at the thought that we migh go and do the same straight afterwards.
Yep.. or the double standards and bullying card. Ginger, we all know it's cos you're bitter about Uniteds success. I'm quite surprised that those who voted in the poll were so honest, tbh.
