Controversial first week in the Inaugural "Predictorship Challenge" tm 2012 here on Not 606

Rios was gifted a decision over Abril which stank more of corruption than incompetence of the judges behalf.

Edner Cherry got the nod over Juan Carlos Martinez which could have easily got the other way.

Marquez almost stopped a gun shy Fedchenko but the Ukrainian held out till the 12th but lost by a one sided UD.

Tyson Fury, turned southpaw, boxed well, and didn't brawl, and put in a good performance to stop the durable Rogan.

Alvarado punished a very brave Herrera to take a comfortable UD over 10 rounds.

Brandon Rios vs Richard Abril (Rios PTS)

Tyson Fury vs Martin Rogan (Fury EKO)

Juan Manuel Marquez vs Serhiy Fedchenko (Marquez PTS)

Mike Alvarado vs Mauricio Herrera (Alvarado PTS)

Edner Cherry vs Juan Carlos Martinez (Cherry PTS)

So after Week 1 the League table looks like this.

    1)RebelBhoy 19 points
    2)swimaway 16 points
    3)D5thincarnation 15 Points
    3)Rubadub 15 points

Congratulations RebelBhoy, who topped this week's scoring, and leads the league, predicting all the winners right and getting 2 right by the correct method also.

    Damn I'm joint bottom <doh>

I watched that fight the other night and it was a shocking decision. I gave Rios 3 rounds at best and one judge had him winning by 7, it makes you wonder about the integrity of boxing when you see decisions like that. Rios is a joker if he was'nt such a dumb **** he could become a top fighter but I dont think he wants to do the hard work to make it to the top.
