I think you'll find (if you go and read my thread on the Spurs board) that I'm of the opinion the ghost goal helped us. We were immense from the 2nd goal up to the VdV/Defoe substitution. Switching to 4-4-2 killed us - not the ghost goal.
pity Dona Mara is not so reasonable. and mods deleting posts that are not inflammatory or abusive. Makes them look very childish .
I would suggest that our mods delete EVERYTHING Dona mata posts here . If he cant take any criticism he should not be able to dish it out . w@nker .!
I don't want to go off topic but I've been banned from the Liverpool board. And do you know what the reason provided was? "making a thinly veiled hillsborough reference" Absolutely disgusting and shocking. I've never made one post about hillsborough and anyone can go through my post history. The Liverpool mods are a disgrace and they just show what a bunch of sensitive clowns they are. They couldn't find a legitimate reason to ban me so they carefully say 'thinly veiled' reference when I've not once mentioned that incident since my time posting on here. I'm sorry to post this in this thread but I have no where else to vent my utter disgust.
That ball didnt go over the line , and even if it did , theres no way that linesman could see it with all them bodies in the way . But its not important , it didnt change the over all outcome .
Overall Chelsea were the better side. The controversial goal will be used to detract from a terrible performance by the Spuds. Season over?
In all honesty there isn't a very good camera angle on this one. I think whether it crossed the line or not, the referee should have called the foul against Terry charging in and cleaning everybody out without touching the ball. That was the really poor decision. Whether it crossed the line or not, it shouldn't have been a goal. Having said that, I do love the Spurs misery and I so desperately dont want Man City to win, I don't even care that Ashley Cole flopped all over the place and got the call either. The problem really is that as a fan, I can be biased in my opinion, but I hope that the referee's have a shred more integrity.
I think the worst abuse isnt calling someone a twat or a bellend. It is accusing someone of having disgusting views wrongly or of trying to mock events or situations that shouldnt be mocked. That is a slant on your character. And is a disgrace unless there is significant and unquestionable evidence to back it up.
I just got a reply from the main not606 mod, Syd, and he said he made a mistake. I was banned because one of the mods there 'sharpe' complained calling me a WUM, not because of hillsborough . Syd made a mistake. So at least that's issue is resolved. Even so, I think it's pathetic that all a mod has to do is complain to get you banned from their board. If that's the case, the Arsenal mods here would simply ban every Spud that comes on here to wind us up, but even I would be against that.
i think forums thrive on inter board banter to be fair. I love having some spuds or chavs on here that try to wum us and we can have a battle of wits and seem them back where they came from with their tails between their legs. Some people take things too seriously. This board is generally one of the best ones and actually the liverpool one is also pretty liberal.
Exactly. I tend to be respectful and not resort to profanities. I'm not going to act like an angel and pretend as if I don't know my comments will annoy some people but I don't solely go there to wind people up. I simply have opinions about Liverpool that they mostly disagree with and because they can't handle my opinions, so the mod has to cry to Syd to get me banned. Pathetic. I didn't even complain when they edited my posts abusing their power yet I still get banned.
Looks over the line in that picture. Although I just looked closer and the shadow of the ball is a bit on the line... ffs, bring in goal line tech
Sorry mate, but the whole of the ball is over the line - and you got ****ing torn to pieces anyway - that's 10 goals Arsenal and Chelsea have put past you recently
Have to say when it happened in real time I was sure it was over the line, then the replays seemed to prove it wasn't. Perhaps the first instincts were correct... lets not forget this picture represents almost the exact angle the referee would have seen....
My first impression was that it was over the line as well, quite clearly. I'd suggest the referee made a good call there actually. Like I said earlier the controversial goal will be used to detract from yet another awful performance by the spuds. Long may it continue.
gunner.b.allright Before you make posts about who was to blame for the Hillsborough disaster may i suggest you take the time you read Lord Justice Taylor's report into the tragedy. The report makes it clear who was to blame for Hillsborough
