Hmmm... not so sure today's result will make anything easier for us. Btw, can you explain your avatar? Looks like Lambert as a theatrical lap dog to me, which seems strange for a Canary fan...
That would be the Lamb-ert of God. Product of a weird christian/norwich photoshop fest. And whether you think today was a positive, their away form (and form in general) surely is?
Poor Lamb(ert)... and poor God come to that! As for Spurs away form... seeing 'Arry's face towards the end of today's game, their form could well be about to change!!
Spot on Uber...I can't believe the amount of over-reaction over this!! And, without doubt, SOME of the supposed well meaning posts are definitely patronising at times!
Comparison with the Spurs game isn't relevant IMO.We didn't play any better than against Man City.Until 75 minutes in that game we were still in it and with a bit of luck could have equalised in the spell leading up to Tevez' second. If Bennett's shot against Spurs had been a couple of feet either side and we had scored against City to make it 2-2 then the results might well have been reversed. That is the nature of football - and what makes it so much fun.
The guy's just speaking his mind as someone who supports a different team and would like to contribute more to our debates but gets put off by unwarranted abuse. He's no wum. Wums don't express themselves like that. I should know - I've had a good few banned from our board. Just thought holding a mirror up might give us pause to think and encourage more quality in terms of occasional debate...
There are two different types of contributor on these boards and it is easy to tell them apart. The genuine WUM's are short,to the point and usually with bad spelling and punctuation and syntax that makes Lord Prescott look like Shakespeare.
Brix, is the courtesy we show visiting contributors not supposed to be reciprocated by other boards? I say this as a thread I started on the Norwich board has been shut down in under two minutes! Surely we should be allowed visit other boards too?
