Very well, both sides are already going to finish in European positions, top 6 and we are guaranteed at least Europa League. If we come 4th, we get Champions League, unless Chelsea win that tournament, in which case it's the Europa.

If Chelsea win and finish in one of the Euro positions, the Europa spot from the cup win is given to the runners-up. Considering that Liverpool also have a Europa spot due to the Carling Cup, they can't have two, so the Europa spot is given to the 6th placed team in the league at the end of the season. If Liverpool win, it's the same situation if Chelsea finish in one of the 1-5th placed Euro spots. Liverpool already have Europa, so it's given to the runners-up, but they're in Europa too due to their league finish, so it goes to the 6th placed team in the table. If Chelsea don't finish in one of the European spots on the table, then it will be because we've beat them to it and took 4th or 5th. So basically, we're 99% assured European football. The only way it won't happen is if Everton close that 12 point gap. Considering there's only 5 games left and therefore only 15 points, we would have to basically lose every remaining game whilst Everton win all of theirs.
