I have nothing other to say than this cheating **** is an embarrassment to the game of football.

If Ronaldo had dived his way to this weeks and last weeks penalties there would be uproar.

I honestly never thought I'd say this but whilst that arsehole wears the three lions count me out.

****ing disgrace and if Ferguson had anything about him he'd grip the ****.

    Rant over.

bollocks wasnt it, he dived then realised he was nowhere near so then stuck his leg out and kicked the villa defender..
embarrassing the ref had such a good view and still fell for it...

Possibly. I'll see how the masses respond to my latest outing of bellendery.

    That's surely a new word?

I agree, he belly flopped like a right ****.

I also think you should do a bellend thread. I'll do a 'failing-to-have-sex' thread, and the world will be right.

I haven't seen todays, yet i am not sure why last weeks was a dive particularly. He was clearly pulled back, players go down for that every week in basically every week, Dawson is the worst, any little touch and he goes down when its near our own area. Yet people don't moan they clap him for being professional. Yet as soon as its United its diving. I admit i haven't seen todays but thats aimed at your criticism of him from last week.

What are you on about man?

Last weeks was one of the worst examples of cheating I have seen in years.
Derry made the slightest of connections and his reaction was ****ing disgraceful. This weeks was just as bad.

Whilst we're at it who the **** are United?

    Sheffield, Leeds, Scunthorpe ?

    Sorry Manchester United.

I don't get it, you pick out one player, i see players do it every week in the PL in our division even our own players, they premeditate contact. It just frustrates me that people pick out one player when basically everone does it now. To many people blame one player due to a dislike of them or the team they play for, Andy Dawson does it week in week out, waits for a touch in the corner then goes down, do you have a go at him?

A disgrace to the game I agree completely and its so typical of United. The thing I hate the most is the armchair fans who attempt to justify it, makes my blood boil!

No of course I don't and whilst I appreciate your point you are way off the mark.

Two weeks running and the red scum get ' non penalties' through the blatant
    cheating of one particular player.

Nicking the odd free kick in the corner is not the same as getting game changing penalties week in week out because the ref's **** scared of Ferguson.

If you think Youngs antics are acceptable then that's up to you.

You cannot defend the indefensible .

in fairness, they should have had a penalty at wigan in midweek. BUT, this is the umpteenth time in a matter of weeks that young has dived so blatantly to con the referee. I don't recall the lad ever doing it at watford or villa, but the MUFC effect has obviously worked its magic on him

the ars*hole commentator even tried to suggest that surely it can't be something he's just picked up at manyoo so he must have learned it at villa, like it was their own fault.

it's just an accepted part of the game now unfortunately but my god i hope someone gives him a good hard slap. he's an embarrassment.

As the poster above highlights the Wigan affair also the fact they should of had another penalty. Your don't have stats to back you up though, since 2003 who are the top four sides to have penalties given for them?

United are not even in the top four, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City are the top four, so your blind acceptance of what the media say about penalties to United is annoying. What Marcus Hahnemann said one time i thought was brilliant, his side had just had a dubious penalty decision given against them, but he said simply, the bigger sides attack more and have far more possesion so they are in the box more often so they are more than likely going to get more dubious penalties.

I don't defend Ashley Young, so do you defend Terry who blatantly cheated today? Do you defend Andy Dawson who does it every week? Do you blame it on Stewart who goes down easily, and many others who do it? You can't pick on one player and not others. I am not defending Young i just don't get why you only pick on Man United and not every other team who have players similar.

EDIT: In relation to another poster, the Man Utd effect? O god, do you really believe the rubbish you type?

It was a pretty bad dive, saying that Andy Carroll did a much worse one the other week.

I'd love a bell end of the week thread. Bellendery is surely a shoe-in for the next edition of the OED.

I don't claim to be stato, I just call things as I see them.

The two dives from Young ( that have occurred within seven days of one another) are nothing short of a disgrace.

If Ashley Cole, Carlos Tevez or anyone else for that matter had cheated in such a way I may well have commented.

As it stands it's Ashley Young that has conned the ref two weeks running.

    You cannot defend the indefensible.

Are you watching the same games as me ?

i'm with city1904... it's a bit laughable that people flag him out when it happens all the time.
He's clearly exaggerated contact. That's FACT.
    I'd agree it's considered cheating.
    I'd agree that it's unacceptable.
    BUT
It's a joke though to have a witch hunt against Man u and one player. I can spend 5 minutes on youtube and find you a ton of them from players all over the country. Doing attempting the same thing.

The difference is that Man u might get the penalty given and therefore is on the highlights. But are you telling me that there isn't at least one similar incident per game in every single league every saturday?
How many examples aren't shown on motd or talked about on yahoo sport? how many attempts by british players or foreign players where they try and get a penalty by exaggerating contact do you not see and therefore don't rant about...?

    TONS

Either way you lost all credibility when you said this
    Just my opinion/
