The wise decision for spuds is to not renew his deal. Its a money sink if they do. They could do with the wage space to be honest.

Been dire except for about 10 games early in the season (after a poor start).

He isnt interested. Too many egos at spuds and a real lack of talent and quality.

Next year they wont have adebayoor who they have relied on heavily for a start.

 

Modric had about 10 good games last year, but was dire for the rest of it. He has been awful for most of this year too. He doesn't score goals and doesn't create, plus goes missing in big games. I remember young Coquelin running the midfield against him at WHL. They won that on a hand ball and a goal keeping error, but their midfield was outplayed.

 

I know we have Wigan next, but it's hard to not already look forward to the Chelsea game. How will we deal with Mata and Drogba.

 

We wont have to. Drogs vs barca for sure meaning torress will face us which will be a far easier thing for us.

 

We just need to focus 100% on Wigan - if we beat them we can afford to drop points vs Chelsea. Its all about Wigan right now and a win is vital.

It could actually have been 10 the way Spurs defended - but oh well, a 5 goal humiliation will do.
