I've seen it a couple of times, I know Ashley Young makes a meal of it but there's contact, Ciaran Clark touches Ashely Young's foot.

Not a penalty for me and a dive by Young. Just looked on the cafe and most on there think it is not a penalty as well.

Penalty every day of the week.

Disagree, then diddums, find someone who gives a ****.

Young should be beaten for his theatrical antics though, pointless though can see why players do it when dealing with such low standards of refs

Would be interesting to see what you would say if a similar penalty was given against you.

I would moan about it but still feel the defender was at fault.

A quick look shows only Alistair maintaining it was a dive but hes an arsenal fan so **** him.

Many agree it was a penalty, Young went down easy on redcafe.

stop with the Young bashing, im sure if any other player was in Young's position, 99% of them would do the same, especially players like Torres, and Drogba and Tevez and Gerrard and haha especially Andy Carroll ( who chooses diving over scoring) too

every team does it, Man city and Chelsea both of them do it quite alot of times but no one complains when they do it, everyone complains for us because we're man utd andthey get bitter that we're on the verge of our 20th league.

Like I said, many also agree it was a penalty.

Some fans like to always be on the opposite side of the argument, makes them feel better. Many of the fans on Redcafe come from asia aswell so probably watched it at some silly AM.

    I disagree A-V - not EVERYONE

If nothing else this is a very sad comment on the state of the modern game

I'm personally fed-up with players that seem to have spent longer at RADA than they have on the training pitch, yet the FA / FIFA seems unwilling to do anything about it. Why?

Is this what we as fans really want to see?

So, are you admitting he cheated?

You sound like a commentator, and a **** one at that. Touching him doesn't mean a penalty, just so you know. Fouling him does. In this case it was a foul though.

  15. he cheated - again.

Bale, Young, Rooney, Gerrard - biggest cheats in football and all British.

Jamie Mackie has been bollocked for not going down when clattered so no not everyone does it. There's a difference to going down easily and diving. Watch again and you'll see young has his stride wrong to make the contact so he makes an unnatural step across with his right foot before standing on a land mine!

I don't differentiate between Man Utd and anyone else

Cheats anger and frustrate me whoever they play for, even if it's my beloved QPR
