According to various media formats, Sol Bamba is on Colin's radar and a bid by the club will be offered to Leicester. Also understand Brian Easton (Burnley) has been training with us with a view to joining, after being released by Burnley.
Both players would be brilliant as they are no messing battling defenders, with technical ability.
I would also like us to look at Paul Caddis at Swindon, a good right back defender, with pace, ball control and vision.

Would be very impressed with Bamba. Not sure about Easton, surely if he's been released by Burnley he's not got the quality we need?

He's a cracking player, but the Burnley manager doesn't see the club playing in a manner that suits Easton. It was Easton that stood out for me for the Hamilton team during the McCarthy and MacArthur (now both at Wigan) period. Easton made room for both the players and this allowed them to dictate games.
Talking of the players stated, I'd be delighted if we went in for both of them, should Wigan go down. I would also like us to try and get Danny Wilson from Liverpool (Blackpool on loan).
Also, what about Fraser Richardson at Southampton, he's developed into a better player since he left us, although I don't think he is EPL standard, so a move may be possible.
Steven Fletcher at Wolves may be a player on interest to Leeds, he's leaving Wolves no matter what happens and could be a cracking player to have beside McCormack.

Same "sauces" that told ye all about Snoddy last summer and in January, some chose not to believe me and I wonder now what they feel now that Snoddy has himself stated what occurred.

Can't see Bamba joining tbh, why would Leicester let him leave?

Because they have 2 cbs that are better than him. Not that I think we'll get him anyway. I see him to be a bit of a clumsy CB tbh, think we can get better for the money we'd spend on him

Bamba isn't the usual type of Leeds United signing. He is obviously a talented player considering he makes appearances for Leicester despite competition including Wes Morgan, St Ledger and Matt Mills (all these defenders would start in our team). Leicester are a better team than us and have more money than us so pulling off the signing would be ambitious. Bamba is also only 27 and not the usual reject that we sign. Finding it very hard to believe we will make the signing.

How do you know how much money and what better player that would cost the same as you would 'imagine' he would cost?

In truth I don't. I'd prefer us to sign Jason Pearce though and I can't see him costing too much whereas I think Bamba might cost a bit more than he is worth

Why does it have to be one, sign them both - agreed we are asking a miracle for Bates to spend the cash

Yeah, Leicester have St Ledger and Morgan that start ahead of him, but if Mills leaves they will need cover - why sell him their cover if they've already got it? Seems a bit pointless. Jason Pearce sounds a hell of a lot more realistic.
