Stop trying to rationalise the cheating that continues to happen. "Oh remember that one isolated incident when Man City got a questionable penalty against Sunderland? No. I don't. Those are also against the rules. If players take the piss with taking a throw-in too far forward it will be pulled back and it is highly unlikely to affect the game. If a player's shirt is pulled a free-kick or pen will result, assuming the referee does his job. Exaggerating the contact as much as Young and others do cheats the referee into giving a decision he otherwise wouldn't and can get a fellow pro sent off. You can dress it up as much as you like and provide as many examples of other things wrong with the game as you like, but diving is a cancer in the game and Young is currently the most well-known for it.
