    From the BBC:

    http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/17703628

The key for Kightly was spending the best part of three months out on loan in the Championship with Sean Dyche's Watford, where he proved that he was on his way back.

"I owe Watford a heck of a lot," he said. "That loan spell helped me massively.

"They were the best club I could have gone to. I played under a great manager there in Sean Dyche. In fact, I was surprised at just how good he was. He handles his players brilliantly and it was perfect for me to go there and play my football.

“Now I'm two years older than I was, another couple of years and hopefully I'll be at my peak”

"I probably wouldn't be playing as well as I am now if it wasn't Watford.

"Towards the end of my spell there, I felt as good as I had done and feel like I'm a better player than I was before my injury.

Good to hear non Watford player(s) giving praise to Dyche and the club. Always good to enhance our reputation when it comes to loans, helps us get the better pick of the bunch. He will probably score against us next season though!

Hope people dont start taking too much notice of SD - could do without another manager being poached :) Good for Kightly though

He doesn't play 'attractive' football so I doubt any Prem club or top half Championship club would show any interest.

Plus this season we have been poor on the tele, remember under Malky we smashed QPR at Loftus Road live on the bbc.

I can't see him staying at Wolves next season...i would have thought he'd stay in the Prem. Great words though, good to know how highly SD is thought of.

I think Matt Jarvis will be the first Wolves winger to leave their club, someone like Everton will prob sign him I reckon.

Kightly has missed the majority of Wolves last 2 seasons through injury, so he's not really proved himself in that league.

agreed, though he's quite obviously one of their best players, and someone who actually manages to do something positive in a game...that can't have gone unnoticed...

However stupid their board are for sacking Mick McCarthy, if Kightly goes down with them Wolves have half a chance of bouncing back.

I don't say that with the intention of understating how good Kightly is, but because Wolves are that bad.

Kightly was fantastic while he was at the club. I have a strong feeling he will still be with Wolves next season, and I think like other have echoed on this thread he could be a key player in their promotion challenge. Apart from 2 or 3 players I can see Wolves keeping their squad, I mean I doubt first-teamers like Karl Henry and Kevin Foley will be attracting much attention.

We seem to have a very good record when it comes to loaning in wingers at this club recently, think Johnson, Cleverly, Kightly and Kacaniklic. It makes a huge difference in the second tier of football when you have a player of quality in midfield who can create chances

    Agreed.

Jarvis, Fletcher & Doyle. Those 3 will leave IMO, but the rest will probably stay Id say. And if they do they would be favourites for automatic promtion with the likes of SEB, O'Hara, Kightly, Hunt, Hammil, Ward, Foely, Johnson, Berra, Hennessey etc

As a Hull fan, this is obviously nothing to do with me, but it's good to see a player giving some recognition to the club that gave them an opportunity to show what they can do again.

    It's good to see.

Completely agree Brettaman :) We've been fortunate to receive some great comments from loanees when they've gone back to their clubs...although, strangely, Trotta didn't say much after we only used him for 20 minutes, i wonder why?! ;)
