It will be rough but I'd put anything on us staying up this season.

Its good to see us sorting transfer deals as soon as we can. Means fewer panic buys on the last day and a longer pre season for incoming players which always seems to help. Especially for foreign lads.

  3. Gervihno is not a striker, i'd rather have him in attacking mid/winger.

And i don't want Marvuex. Lets buy some PL players instead of hauling ass in from Europe.

Gervihno would be a great signing, but i don't want us to sign too many players from abroad. I certainly don't like the sound of signing Vargas.

I'd rather see what Ireland has, if he proves himself, buy him for 4/5 million. He's a proven PL player, and in form is excellent.

    He is a striker/winger. I would rather have this;

    -----------Barton-------------Tiote---------------

    -Gervihno-----------Ben Arfa----------------Jonas
    -----------------Toivonen/Gameiro

But i was going off who we have been linked to

Yeah as Wein said, Gervinho's a striker/winger, so I'd wanna play something along the lines of Ben Arfa [Striker] Gervinho up front, but Gervinho's versatility means he can play up front as a striker if need be.

Plus, Marveaux will be on a free. Decent player, so I can't see why not. PL players will be overpriced and I don't wanna get ripped off!

  7. Yes but i'd rather we'd sign an out and out striker, rather that relying on an attackin mid type player. We can play him in the striker position if we need.

Lets not forget that Leon Best is priving to be a prolofic goal scorer, so we should not just forget about him. 6 goals in 10 games is certainly worth considering for next season. It certainly means that Shola and Lovenkrands will definetely be going within the next year or so.

Yeah yeah I'd rather sign a striker as well! I'm on about signing Gervinho as a winger, as we are after wingers too! Just we can play him up front if needed, due to injuries or suspension or whatever. Not saying we should just sign Gervinho and forget signing a striker! By all means, an out and out striker is top priority.

I just think I'm a bit in love with Gervinho at the minute. Not sure what I'd do if we signed him...

<---- Post count.. Battle of Hastings, anyone? edit; it's gone now. changed. you all missed it. it was fun while it lasted, honest..

I really don't know which out and out striker I want us to sign. As long as it isn't Cole or Crouch!

Me neither. Gameiro has been cited, but apparently he's too little so wouldn't work up front on his own. Then there's Lille's Sow to consider, but doubt Lille would want to sell most of their best players. Or this Icelandic bloke whose name escapes me.

    Latest from @cwarr07

Winger from the Prem and a goalkeeper from the Championship.

    Larsson and Camp or Westwood?

It was the one year reunion where the Normans and Saxons went to Battle for the weekend, dressed up as Normans and Saxons and recreated the, erm... battle.

  19. Winger - Larsson or Ireland
    Goalkeeper - Westwood.

Why a GK? Unless he's going to sell Forster to Celtic, put Krul out on loan and put the new GK second choice?

Yeah our history lessons mainly involved our teacher making us coffee then talking about random crap. Good though. It's a miracle I passed. Coursework at A level was ridiculous, 4000 words, which is like the biggest a level coursework i've ever seen. that amount is more like 2nd year uni level.
