I'm sure it's very disappointing that Alonso finished behind them both and that he made a rare mistake but sour grapes are sour grapes.
Kobayashi was nowhere and Perez had brake problems all weekend. I have nothing against Senna and Maldonado, but their car is quick. Maldonado's pace in Australia was very close to Webber. They were strong in Malaysia and today they kept up with the train. The car is quick and strategy was right - which is why I can't shower the drivers with praise.
I remember all the crap Maldonado had to take last year.. If he wasnt a complete ****** in Australia, they'd be pretty much equal in the championship.
...And if I'm not wrong, unlike Bruno, the Ferrari and Sauber drivers don't have to miss FP1 every race weekend
Must be honest Maldonado has come out and shocked a lot of people this year. Main reason he got criticised is because he replaced Hulkenberg. Had he not been taken out at Monaco he'd have probably been level on points with Barichello.
Dont get me going on Hulkenberg.. Today he was even worse than anyone could have been. Behind Kovalainen the whole race before his woes. He deserved to replace him. Last years Williams was crap, this years is probably a top 5 car potentially. I just dont think the drivers are as good as the car, possibly the worst driver line up after HRT.
Well it's quite obvious the detractors are die-hard Ferrari fans, and it would be a miracle to expect that not to cloud their judgement
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but getting to the point, may be I should have been more specific and said Alonso instead of generalizing, but in any case, my point remains the same
Why did sauber have no consistent pace? They were quick in bursts, but generally pretty slow. Well done to Bruno, 2 points finishes in a row, the car must be excellent if he managed it.
Both Senna and Maldonado have done good solid jobs this year. They needed to post some good results becuase of the question marks hanging over both of them. They are putting on a good show this year and silencing a lot of doubters (some can never be silenced).
Both are quick and hard drivers, I don't think Maldonado was unfairly criticised last year for the mistakes he made, but he was rarely praised for sme good drives. All he, and Senna, needed to do was add some consistency, which hopefully they have. I'm glad they are there, they're are exciting to watch.
