I think that both of them, BS and PM, has shown inconsistency, though I like to defend Bruno for having had a 10 year complete break from racing(1994-2004), hence being more inexperienced. I do believe senna has the raw talent to become really great, and hoping that those 10 years do not prove to be too difficult to catch up. Don't know much about PM's career though, but he seems to be a pretty potent driver as well to me. I agree it will be very interesting to see who comes out on top.
Chat is a regular verb so the past tense is chatted. I think you're thinking of irregular verbs like sink or swim where the past tense is sank and swam. Perhaps if we all try really hard to mind our P's and Q's, watch out for your and you're, and put have and of in their place, chrispa might not pick up any bad habits. ?
Omg, how do I know what is regular and what is not? I heard a British guy correct someone saying '****ted' telling her it is called 'shat'. This is what I thought of when I figured it should be chat and not chatted. Sigh I give up lol. Yes good idea everyone please stop doing errors for my sake! lol No seriously, I think It will all sort it self out once I live and study in the UK, I will most probably start writing more and more correct without paying much attention to it.
Yeah, Chrispa, just to clarify: That 'have' and 'of' which you mentioned before. 'Should have' becomes 'should've', especially when spoken. These two are both correct. 'Should've' often gets written as 'should of' but that's plain wrong, though you can see how it happens. Anyway, this is all really off-topic. Don't we have an off-topic group? I should check but I think it's called 'The Pits'. Edit: I'd go with 'shat' myself, for what it's worth. Irregular verbs are a nightmare in any language but especially in English. The more you learn, the easier it gets, though, because you start to see patterns.
Cheers Max, Yes I actually asked about that before in this forum and got it explained to me. I looked so weird to me that people write of instead of have. Yet it was after I had it explained to me that it is merely slang, that I wrote it on my essay. I was so used of seeing it that I had picked it up unintentionally. Lets just steer back on topic instead There are plenty of other places online where I can better seek help in these matters.
I thought that's what you might have been thinking of, chrispa, but I was far too polite to bring it up emoticon-0131-angel) so I went for sink and swim. **** is an irregular verb, too. You usually just have to learn irregular verbs, as Max says.
Maybe Senna's luck is turning, if you look back on his short career he's had a season in the original and worst HRT, a mid season switch to a quickly fading Renault which had numerous mechanical failings when he was in it. He's managed to get a drive in the Williams, which only the desperate would've wanted, and seems to have a decent car. He needs to try and avoid the wheel banging though. I don't think a podium is out of the question this year
Great day for Williams. I don't think anyone can blame Bruno of poor race craft now. Although he needed to cool it down at the start, he drove very well with a damaged front wing. With the errors gone and the race rust worn off, he can do great
...and to quote someone on another forum "Senna has to learn a new circuit, new car and engineers and all, with one less practice, finishes ahead with older tires and a damaged car"
While that's a legitimate query, the mid-field is very close, Ferrari, Sauber, Lotus, Williams all within a hair's breath of each other. You have to give both Williams drivers credit for where they ended. Look at the Saubers and the Ferrarri's. It was about racing smartly
They qualified 13th and 14th, nearly half a second off the pace of the Saubers, whom both drivers beat in the race. Riposte? Senna and Maldonado look like a cracking pairing.
Williams got it right on strategy today, the other midfield teams didn't. Sauber also lacked race pace and Alonso would've beaten the Williams cars easily if he was on the same strategy as them.
Great result for the pair of em today. Managed the tough race very well. Williams look likely to be in the points every race.
Senna did nothing again today, just in the right place at the right time. Nearly took Massa out. Still not impressed.
The Saubers did not lack pace, especially Pérez, though he was unlucky with strategy. Both Williams drivers were on it today, just as they were in Malaysia, it's mean to insist that they don't deserve credit.
That's not the point. I just dont think Senna is at all good. He gets lucky his team does all the work for him. Maldonado is by far better, and he isnt any good either.
