how bad is the premier league?

    The best player in the league is a bloke 37 (paul scholes) and the champions elect were outclassed home and away by a team 11th in the spanish league. How bad is the league relative to the good european leagues?

    For my money EPL = sabre charge, Spain = lethally pretty football. Matter of taste.

    When TV company's around the world bid for the TV deals the first they go for is always the Premiership.
    The only league in the world with bigger attendances is the Bundesleague due to very low ticket prices (Something our lot should take note of).
    Spain may have the best two teams and the best players but the best league is ours. Even FIFA and UEFA agree on that.

    Premiership is the best league in the world. Any team can be any other team, which is why its the most exciting.

    Regarding Bilboa beating Utd...I'm sure he played the kids and wasn't too bothered about the Europa league. The Spanish league is fun, but some games can be soooooo boring.

    That was the big one mate saved more lives.
    Couldn't give two tosses about the other one mate it's all a ploy to sell books, films, tv programmes and new museums.

    Agreed mate and still they fall for it, at least they aren't in purgatory for ever and a day or as we like to call it being a Sunderland supporter.

    Spanish league has 5 teams in the 2 European semi finals, Premiership 1. I think that says it all

    There's no doubting Scholes has been one of the best players ever to grace the premiership, but I could name a dozen players who are currently better than him.
    It's all about opinions I suppose.
