Add to that Zakuani, their captain and #5 at CB has just confirmed he has been struggling with injury for a while and has now declared himself a fan for the last 3 games on Twitter, we must be able to score. Makes one wonder if Posh are easing off? Hopefully the squad don't expect them to. Get out there and get the points.
Jock Waugh the appointed Referee http://www.football-lineups.com/referee/1884/ I don't know much about him but hopefully he will give us more decisions than Mike Dean!
Absolutely. We are faced with a poor Peterborough team, an average Middlesborough team, and a probably relegated Coventry team. We will be in the Prem next year so we should be knocking these teams off for fun. Nine out of nine, and in two week's time we'll wonder what all the fuss was about.
Hello I am pleased to see some positivity and insightful comments, nothing is settled yet and we are in for two more exciting if not nervous weeks. Keep the positivity going everybody and build some momentum.
I thought he refereed the game very well and allowed it to flow, so no complaints about him on Friday.
That is interesting especially as Bennett is now at Norwich (he looked like he enjoyed himself against Aguero and Tevez today!!) and that leaves them with very little (I see only four fit defenders in their whole squad!).
Yes, I think were are in better positions and it will be interesting to see how Reading cope with being the front runners instead of having someone to chase; that change in mentality may make a difference. But as we all know strange results happen at this time of the season.
That is a really interesting point about the keeper, my heart was in my mouth when Roberts and Davis collided in the first half in the penalty area. I guess we would have to ditch a full back from the bench.
The thing im most worried about is that we have a relatively young squad compared to West Ham, who are largely old, experienced, and from what was proved today, cool under pressure. At any other point in the season i would say a solid 2-0 or 3-0. However, Im worried that the youngens will lose their heads under pressure in these last 3 games. In terms of how good the team is, id say we are pretty certain for promotion. But pressure can be a bitch, and there is a possibility it will take its tole on our relatively young team. I have confidence Nige will keep cool heads, but alot will depend on his team talk, and the support of the fans, they need us more than we, and probably they, realise right now. 2-0 Saints. Sharp, Lambert, but probably a nervous first half.
I'm not so sure about this. Most of our players were playing under arguably greater pressure last season and they're now all a year older (and have last year's experience in the locker). I think they'll be fine.
Yup, a good point that we have the experience of winning an end of season battle. I think its a bit different between league 1 and the championship, and Huddersfield and West Ham. Believe me, I hope and believe i will be proved wrong, it was just a worry
