I am sorry but I cannot see how the lives of two horses (albeit racehorses and pedigree ones) can even be remotely compared to one human life. I do respect the lives of animals, I do not want them subjected to unnecessary cruelty and think that they should be treated well. But to equate the two? Has the world gone mad?

 

Surely this is roughly the view of most sane people in the world.
