I would like Man City to win it, purely because it would be a pleasant change. And they have played some great football this season.
...and Man U haven't bought titles? For years they've had the luxury of buying who they want when they want. Ferdinand has a good tournament for England and it's 'We'll have him!' Everton bring a young kid called Rooney through the ranks and it's 'We'll have him!'. It's happened quicker with City for sure because of the sheer wealth involved but you're deluded if you think titles aren't bought one way or another.
Good argument KJ, but Man Utd havn't done it the same way City have. The moment Manseur (Spelling) bought the club, it's been spend, spend, spend. In one summer alone they bought an entire squad of players, I don't think United have ever done that. Fergie has always improved on one or two positions. I also like the way he's bringing in youth, not alot of teams are doing that nowadays.
watched the man c v norwich match, city without the moron balotelli were awesome however utd for the title
I was there for that match - it contained a slim Alan Brazil for Utd if I remember correctly. Since that night Utd have always been my second team. I will never forget that help. BTW the whole point about Utd winning the title because of the dislike of scousers is to do with another title more than Liverpool have.
if man city grew the club organically and bought say 3-4 top players like united do every summer, then it would take at least 10 years to get near united, why should they do that when they have the money available to accelerate that process? go through the united team and the teams probably cost roughly the same anyway...
Swamp, disagree. Giggs, scholes, welbeck, Evans, Rafael and brother all products of youth team. United spent maybe 100 million on the rest, city have spent over 300 million. Buying the title.
MANU & Liverpool have creamed support from all over the country, and in MANU's case the world, and for far too long it's been a boring one horse race, barring the odd blip, so I'm relishing the chance that MAN CITY can take this 20th from MANU and their American owners, and the fact that we can have a part in this history is mouth watering, SKY BLUE all the way for me!..................... please log in to view this image
Some players we could add to the Swans squad next centenary season:- Charlie Austin (Burnley) Morten Gamst Pederson (Blackburn) Steven Fletcher (Wolves) Matt Jarvis (Wolves) Maynor Figueroa (Wigan )
Made me scratch my head for a moment too, but I think it's because Liverpool would hate it if united won yet another title.
Regardless of what we do , the first game ( in which there are 4 ) that QPR doesn't get the full 3 points , were officially safe
And breeeeath, Let's hope they lose then. Not so much so were guaranteed safe (Because we are anyway), but just because they deserve to go down.
rooney £25m ferdinand £30m Carrick £18m berbatov £30.75m young £15m Nani £18m Anderson £15m Smalling £12m Hernandez £7m De Gea £18m Vidic £6m Evra £5m Jones £16m Bebe £7m those players alone cost £222m.
yes, but thats because they have grown organically, man city dont want to hang around so they are buying the players they need at a much quicker rate than united, thats my point....the total cost of each squad isnt miles apart as JA said....
