Has woman ever won this race? Doesn't seem to make much difference on flat races, just jump races. Ha I nearly did that last minute on seabass a lot of people did looking at how the odds changed.
Nah a woman has never won it that's what the big hoo hah was with the odds dropping! I managed to squeeze it in at 10/1 but only won about £6
That's the best ever by a woman. It's a massive physical effort the national, no surprise one hasn't won. Seabass will have a good chance next year with a decent jockey!
Just dont see it as a sport. Couple of midgets riding a horse as fast as possible. Sort of thing that happened every day 200 years ago. Can see no appeal in it at all. Like fishing and golf. People are easily entertained these days though so its no surprise.
Cheeky ****er, golf is a top sport. Try it before slagging it off. Takes a deal more skill than chasing a ****ing ball round. As for those midgets, bet the little ****ers would sort you out no sweat! They're hard as nails man. Flat racing, yes it is riding a fast horse in a straight line. The jumps, one of the most difficult sports you could do.
Just not for me either of them. I respect that there is skill required in golf and I have played it, albeit briefly in the past. Just bores me.
I dunno about the skill part. AT the very very top then I would think its pretty close. Footballers will more than likely work much much harder.
To be honest, I was more narked you put fishing and golf in the same category. Fishing is sitting on your arse. Definitely not a sport. I love football of course, i just love playing golf more.
I love a round of golf although to be fair I'm a real fair weather golfer, can't be doing with playing in the rain and cold. It's a lot harder than it looks, tho I prefer football but one day I will have to give up playing football. You can play golf into your retirement.
