Downing did look much better on the right, and to be fair to him and his critics even on the left, a lot of his good crosses weren't taken advantage of by our strikers, story of his season. Maybe trialling him right and Maxi left would be worth a shot the next game, certainly better than Henderson who is wrongly played there and looks completely out of his depth.

No we don't with Enrique but certainly seems strange, Agger looked awful at left back and Carra looked awful at centre back. Agger and Skrtel are the best centre back pairing and must be played there if they are both available, unless a dire emergency.

    Totally agree.

Not only has Carroll scored two games in a ro for the first time for us. But they were both winning goals.

Henderson lost his head again unfortunately. I am confident he will be a top player but he has to cut that out fast.

well hard luck to everton. you get a lucky goal but were pushing us back and then inexplicably you just shut up shop and stop pressurising our poor players.

Gerrard is a passenger, we didn't play well but took advantage of the mistakes... shocker to equalise and then carroll who misses a shedload has his ponytial head it in.

Had everton subbed felliani or at least pushed up and pressurised us they'd have won today.

I'll predict right now that if we drop carragher and relegate gerrard to a wing or bench role we can progress. If we presist with playing these two were effecively playing with 10 men or worse 9.

roll on the final... happy enough with the game and a decent amount of entertainment on show.

Carroll is now on double figures for goals in his Liverpool career.

all lfc need is 6-7 more players to compete.... midfielders, forwards, and defneders... clearly now that jones knows how to catch the ball. (firs ttime for everything) we have world class keepers all round <laugh>

Creative midfielder, a striker, a right winger and a ittle more depth.

    5 signings I say.

How many minutes of football do professionals play each weekend? And how many times have this cropped up, say over the last 10 years?

    0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%

Chance it happens. I can think of 3 in 20 years of watching.
