I probs will get slated for this, as some as you know I live in Ocean Village. Popping to the Tescos, I bumped into a Saints player. I asked if he was who I thought he was and he kept going no no, but it was obvious who he was

Few mins later I saw the same player buy a couple packs of cigs, then go outside and spark up.

Isit right that a pro player smokes?.
 
Loads of players smoke, expecially keepers, I think Davis does. I know david james used too and i think rooney did aswell. Not unusual.
 
It was Guly, I did wonder why he kept saying he wasn't until he started smoking <laugh>
 
Pretty stupid thing to do, voluntarily hindering your own ability to do your job.
 
Loads of players smoke & so what. If they train hard and perform to an acceptable level then fine.

As for Guly, give him a break. He'll be spotted assisting the Taliban next!!
