I don't care about Pompey result - really couldn't care less at the moment. That result screwed us royally in this promotion chase (then we got screwed by the Royals!). We'd have 8 points (down to 5) on Hammers without that. And wtf can they do with the points? What a waste of time! Hate these staggered games!

Early goals are not actually all that bad - not ideal, but infact, Brighton have an idea now what they have to do, and West Ham can get complacent.
 
All over. At this rate we are going to be kissing goodbye to the goal difference as well. I am genuinely really worried that this could go tits up for saints now
 
i guess we kind of had to expect a west ham win but this sounds like it could be 6/7 which is really bad for us... now im getting worried

If we win 2 out of 3 then second place is pretty well nailed on regardless of what West Ham do because of our goal difference. We win our games and we don't need to worry about West Ham. All we can do is go for maximum points and hope Reading slip up. They have a tough trip to St Andrews on the final day, while we have what should be a home banker against Coventry, so things could get interesting.

Worst case scenario - Brighton get thumped today, then pick up form for final games, and get into play-offs as well.

And as for who they play and beat in the play-off final, I will not even start to think about that one.... revenge match against West Ham, let's say.

Blimey folks, stay away from the Itchen Bridge tonight. Brighton were never going to win this one. Still three points clear.
