well done, you deserve it the way you have performed this season, if you get 4 or 5 (you will need that many now with the amount of europa league games) players that all add something to your team/squad then we have work on our hands to reclaim NE top spot

You may have the better team from time to time, but you will never be the best club in the north east <ok>

Cheers Poolie, very magnanimous of you!

Obviously ACS its not officially official yet, BUT, beating Stoke could potentially have it nailed on which is fairly exciting...

Thing is though, I don't know about you, but I just don't feel as happy as I should. I just really don't like Liverpool and despite being a necessity for them to win, I feel very blank about it all!

Cheers Poolie, if you had MON from the start of the season you could of been joining us but I expect you to be challenging next year.
For us, it caps off an amazing turn around, only 3 years ago we hit rock bottom, relegated having had countless managers and dis-interested overpaid players, to have achieved what we have is nothing short of a miracle. Credit to all at the club for this, proud to be a mag again...

Just being in Europa League is great, but I'd be jizzing so much if we get 5th which means we're in the group stages straight away, no qualifiers!

12 pts ahead of 7th with 15 to play for and we've won our last 5. Not mathematically confirmed but it's a lot more 'on' than it was Yesterday

we shall see and I think you will do well in the Europa League, the majority of my mates are toon fans and we are always talking about the north east teams. You have quite a continental look to your side with the likes of Tiote, Ben Arfa, Cabaye, Cisse, Ba, Colocinni, Gutierres and Santon having experience in other european leagues and I think this will certainly be an advantage with regards to the europa league. If you add 1 or 2 really good players to the starting 11 (my toon mate thinks its nailed on you are getting the LB Peters from the dutch league) along with 2 or 3 good squad players I can see you lot having another good season

    Douglas
    Pieters

In terms of squad reserve team promotions I'm thinking....

    Streete
    Campbell
    Hooper

Don't know your 3rd choice ACS

But Douglas and Pieters aye, I'd take both.

    --------------------------------------------------------------

On top of them I'd take Hoilett because I think he could be immense in our 4-3-3 system.

We should keep our 4-3-3 football but rotate the team so Ba or Cisse should come off from time to time and instead we should play 3 wingers.

Hoilett with his immense pace on the LW cutting in on his right, Ben Arfa on the right cutting in on his left, and Ba/Cisse in between.

We need 2 defenders and that would do but Pardew is talking about 4 or 5 so I's expect the other 2 or 3 to be young squad players.

Amalfitano is that french bloke (surprise, surprise) who we've apparently agreed to sign on. May have cocked up the spelling...
